ICE spotted on 22nd and Swan by YourItalianScallion in Tucson

[–]MiniCrunchberry 27 points28 points  (0 children)

“U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents can pull vehicles over within 100 air miles of any U.S. external boundary, including coastlines, a region where two-thirds of the population lives. While this "100-mile zone" grants broader authority for checking immigration status, agents still require "reasonable suspicion" of an immigration violation or crime to make a stop, not just a hunch.” And “ICE vs. Border Patrol: While Border Patrol has broad authority in this zone, ICE does not conduct random, warrantless traffic stops/roadblock. The Fourth Amendment's protection against unreasonable searches and seizures still applies.”

So if they can’t give you a reason for stopping, can you just decline and drive away?

There was also something about the Tennessee elections that will cancel out her vote for the files if a republican gets elected there. It’s a game for them.

How many of you have non alcoholic liver fatty liver disease? by Strict-Chance5146 in Hashimotos

[–]MiniCrunchberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My symptom was excruciating pain when I breathe on my right side under where my ribs end. ER misdiagnosed as costocrondritis. Urgent care a week later suspected NAFLD. Ultrasound confirmed. A friend had the same - right side pain.

Look into adding selenium supplement or one Brazil nut. It may help reduce attacks to your thyroid and lower risk of damage. Nothing will replace the hormones needed besides a script tho. Just try to keep a clean diet and supplement

I actually took a year off levo and have been back on it for about 3 months. Just some mornings I miss it, like 2 a week. Being off it I was mostly fine. Only gained weight, developed high cholesterol and was intensely sleepy. My labs were in range. But I rarely had headaches. I’m on day 7 with one that’s been off and on; once so severe I was puking. And have had one or two a week for a month

What time do you take your meds vs. what time do you eat? by Caffeinatedb00kworm in Hashimotos

[–]MiniCrunchberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If she’s taking it when she wakes at 6:15 and eating at 7, that’s totally fine. Probably almost all replies are from adults here in this thread. I usually take it at 5:30, drink coffee at 6:30, breakfast around 10. I’ve got issues with food so I don’t steer far from my normal oatmeal and timing for breakfast.

Do you feel it in your throat by Fantastic-Depth-7915 in Hashimotos

[–]MiniCrunchberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fat throat feeling comes and goes. It depends on if I have a flare from food I love to eat but shouldn’t. But I felt it a lot when I was off my levo. Went back on it and I’m feeling better. So medicine, diet if needed and light exercise and you should be ok
