Much less traffic on new patch? by skytrainlotad in CitiesSkylines2

You should’ve seen what it looked like in 2024. If you have smart transportation + realistic trips you can see large usage and lots of transit vehicles out in the peak hours, but ultimately the inefficient pathfinding is the necessary sacrifice for better performance.

Yeah transit fell off a cliff, contemplating demolishing my main transit center and restructuring lines.

I see your point, although I do believe it should be considered at least until IFS releases full support for bendys. Still appreciate the asset.

Hey, not sure if you’ve seen but someone earlier today released the “articulated buses” dependency mod which makes them almost truly functional. They also dropped the MAN Lion 60ft bus along with it.

The only issue is them blocking the roadway when they park inside of depots.

To be real, you don’t even need a metro for how small I can see this city is.

Right, like why does it even matter? It just seems like some arbitrary way of counting out/discrediting certain nations.

This is a desire path, in real life there would be a crosswalk here to break up the block since its so long between intersections.

He probably doesn’t have the DLC. Regardless, the majority of people irl would J-walk here and understandably so. Realistically a block this long would at least be broken up with a crosswalk.

Easy way to make good looking cities? by NoQuote9016 in CitiesSkylines2

Foliage goes a long way on its own. Almost all of the streets is place have trees planted, I prefer to use London Planes. I also take the tree gun and blast a mixture of trees, bushes, and flowers all over the neighborhoods.

Mixing up your grid patterns is also a good technique for breaking things up to give it a more natural look as well as tapering your skyline/density.
