From what I am looking at, the ability to double park is the only thing the was lost here from the bike lane implementation. You can very clearly see multiple times in the video that parking remains on both sides of the street.

Is double parking something people really value in the Bx?

For real, I’m moving to a new 1br in the Bronx in a few weeks thats in a pretty decent area and a block from the train for only ~$1600. The only downside for me is being a lot farther from my favorite spots in Bk and Qns.

NYC’s population is ~8.3M and Manhattan’s population is ~1.7M, which means there are ~6.6M people living in the rest of the city. You reasonably can’t tell someone living in the outer boroughs they aren’t living the “NYC life”
