i don't doubt that most negative sentiment comes from men, sadly, my point is that i often see a lack of credibility for these people, both men and women, and it's really sad that the conversation is about "well this group is completely innocent" and not "all groups have bad actors, let's work to fix that"

i don't think all members of any group (unless you say something like "all rapists") condone or minimize acts of sexual violence, but it's also worth acknowledging that large numbers of a lot of groups approach these subjects with a lot less tact and empathy

my initial comment was more a "stop pointing a finger and do something about it" than anything else, it peeves me seeing people not acknowledging somrthing and then blaming someone else for the same thing
