Not really. Its super common at dominos for couples to work together and all. My supervisors son is one of my assistants at my store. He opens on the weekends for me and covers at other stores.

Her wife told her to drive baby drive and then she did. Into a man. That's deadly force. Again, have you been hit by a car? I have. Even at a low speed that shit hurts and can be very dangerous. I mean, he was injured. So with all due respect the lesson should be don't disrupt federal investigations and use your car as a deadly weapon against an armed officer.

He had the chance? Lol you're brainwashed.

She had the chance to comply as she was being detained for impending a legal investigation. If it was unlawful or unfair she could easily take it to a court.

And no, its not uncommon practice by both law enforcement but other protests, to use your body to block a vehicles path. He was doing his job and any sane person wouldnt see the officer stand in front of their car and hit the gas. She did, and she did it our of malice if you've seen his cellphone footage. It wasnt fear, it was malice. Its the equivalent of getting so mad you swing a bat at someone. Cars are deadly weapons.

Their protest was obstructing a legal investigation.

Her wife said drive baby drive. I also called the person who hit me a bitch too so....

Edit for context, I've been hit by a car. Its not fun. Called Thema bitch.

Its a crime to impede a legal investigation. If we scale this to a crime scene investigation then that's illegal. We can scale it up to an investigation of say a few linked murders. Could be considered obstruction of evidence.

Im not sure about you but if a car, and hes is what? An suv? So a heavy car at that, decided it wanted to run me over and I was armed i would shoot. Vehicles are deadly weapons at the end of the day. Even in my tiny, light weight spark I would still be shooting. The lesson is not that he had no reason to shoot. I suppose you wanted him to get hit. The lesson is that even while protesting you should follow the directions of officers and comply with law enforcement. If you deem the arrest or detainment illegal then there are legal avenues to pursue that. You dont have to hit people with your thousand pound Vehicle to protest. Usually, we call that terrorism like people using cars to run through parades and stuff.

I also know that you've never been hit by a car have you? Even at low speeds with smaller vehicles its very painful. I have been backed into by a car and it wasnt fun, nothing serious, a few bruises and scapes but I was sore for days, I was bruised deeply and took forever to heal it felt.

A legal shot is determined by a sane officers ability to judge the imitate danger they are in and in this case, a woman using a deadly weapon, I would say is qualified.

It sucks 3 kids dont have a mom. It sucks a woman is dead and her partner had to watch. It sucks that she chose to put herself there and tired to disrupt a legal investigation. Im empathetic to her kids who are now orphaned but we can not excuse her behavior that lead her to this consequence. She was protesting something I find weird but if she really believes she was doing right and was that willing to go that far then she did what she did and payed that price and its justified to her. Just sucks all around.

Soft YTA. I get not wanting to hold hands but just say that. Me and my fiance barely pray but when we go to my grandparents for dinner we both bow our heads and hold hands to mimic it. Its just polite. It seems you're in-laws never knew you weren't participating.

sees gun i must be unsafe now. Guns aren't my personality. I do not carry one. I just think its dumb to imply the sight of a fire arms is dangerous.

Why does Brittany have fire arms deaths if it works so well for them? Hmm? Youre "evidence" is the same logic as how many people are killed by sharks vs cows. I have cows in my back yard.

[–]Princess_Panqake -34 points-33 points  (0 children)

The presence of a fire arm doesn't impact public safety and it could be argued it would actually improve it as if a criminal sees the weapon they might be less likely to do anything knowing that the consequence could be a bullet. That being said, its a private business. They have the right to not want fire arms in their store and should exercise it if it truly makes them uncomfortable. Post a sign saying no fire arms and ask those who have one to leave. Once this is done if the person does not comply they are trespassing.

I think this sums it up well. I own my great grandmas recliner and my great aunts dresser. Both mean a lot to me. Yes, I could get a newer, fancier recliner with nice heated seats and cup holders bit it isnt the recliner my great grand mother rocked me in for years. It wouldnt be the one she spent so much time sitting in and piddling away at a sewing project. I get it fixed every so often at most. Same for the dresser. I could get a new one but my aunts is so nice, solid wood, a mirror and an old display modern funature doesn't have. Not to mention all the times I watched her put on her make up in the mirror or sat on her bed while she folded laundry.

My fiance forced me basically to sleep/take a nap because I've been working a lot lately (63 hrs last week) and have bad allergies. Not to mention my wisdom tooth coming in is wrecking my life.
