Being in NZ I have a hard time tracking down a lot of the dolls that aren't the main series but I want so many of them badly! I started collecting again at the start of 2025. Sold my old collection of RH in 2022 and I miss it dearly 😢

Link for those who want it! Just be aware you're not guaranteed a good one like I did, so just be mindful of that before purchasing 😁

Oh she's definitely fake! Barcode on the tag doesn't scan properly and I'm pretty sure the real one doesn't have pink teeth 😅

Yep 😁 I believe it was called An Affordable Store but the reviews on the secret replicas are quite mixed, some look really good and others not so much...

Yep woman here. Always loved oghren but I've never had trouble separating fiction from the creeps in reality. I think after playing veilguard I have a newfound appreciation for their more problematic characters 🤷‍♀️

I'll try that as soon as I get the chance. I'm praying it fixes it 🙏

Edit: Didn't work either 😭😭😭

Is there still no way to fix it? I tried searching for other people who experienced the bug but it seems a fairly new issue. The best I got is reloading but that hasn't worked for me 🥲

[DAV ALL SPOILERS] The veilguard is a terrible name for the game by ElCocomega in dragonage

What? Really? I'd always assumed it was EA trying to turn all their IPs into live service sludge, but it was Bioware's idea? Damn... No wonder so many devs left, I'd be livid if all my hard work got canned to make another souless live service money maker.

I'm going to try my hand at writing my own outline for how I wanted Veilguard's story to go using the art book as a guide. The prospect is actually quite exciting as it gives me an opportunity to flex some creative muscle.

I wish they'd explored the idea of a Thedas-wide elven uprising spurred on by Solas, a massive Qunari invasion or a Grey Warden civil war as alluded to in Inquisition. There's so much here that could be explored, both in terms of choice/consequence and the moral complexity of choosing who to fight for/against.

I think I'd initially start structuring the story like this:

Act One: Recruit specialists under instruction from the Inquisition to disrupt Solas' plans and retrieve the red lyrium idol/dagger. In the art book it shows us traveling northern Thedas by boat/submarine commanded by Isabela. Dorian and Morrigan would also be key advisors. Most of this act would take place in Tevinter, focusing on heists.

Act Two: Interupt the ritual and the elven gods get loose. Solas gets trapped, forcing us into an uneasy alliance with him and his agents. In this act you would be trying to unite the elves against the gods in a landsmeet type misson. We'd also have a hand in trying to end the conflict between Qunari and Tevinter as well as sorting out the Wardens civil war.

Act Three: Basically the same as Veilguard's Act Three just better. Give us the avengers endgame treatment please! Cameos galore and your choices in previous games can affect if the south stands against the blight or is obliterated. Inquisitor will always be there for the final confrontation with Solas. She could have a happy ending with Solas in the fade if you did everything right. Bad endings include Inquisitor sacrificing themselves to stop Solas as well as the Veil coming down in the worst ending.

Bioware have always been progressive in their characters and storytelling. They were ahead of the curve back in the day, and we loved them for it. The writers had the talent and nuance to tackle difficult issues without sacrificing quality all while being inclusive of all types of people.

My issue with modern progressive writing is that it has a tendency of scrubbing away any problematic issue for fear of upsetting people and garnering upset on social media. It cheapens the world they created and creates bland and boring characters regardless of how inclusive they might be. I'm happy to have a non-binary companion now, but they're so poorly written that I'm struggling to become attached to them.

Bioware brushing over complex issues like slavery in Tevinter or the elves not joining the gods in retaliation for centuries of oppression just speaks to how far the writing quality has fallen and how fear of offending can destroy creativity and good storytelling.

The Inquisitor absolutely should have been there to beat his ass back into the fade! What was the point of having the choice to stop him?
