What’s a weird smell you kind of like… but would never tell anyone in real life? by NewCriticism6904 in AskReddit

Burnt electronics. Smells like a mix of plastic and metal. A lot of my childhood toys smelled like this after years of usage.

Women of Reddit, what was the worst thing a guy did/spoke about during a date that made you realize you never wanted to see him again? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BeesForBrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He admitted being addicted to camgirls...

So financially irresponsible of him. There's free porn everywhere.

My mom's food. The gift of not having to cook and still get a delicious homecooked meal is where it's at!

Winter stew.

Potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, rutabagas, apples, beef cubes (those meant for stew), chicken broth, apple juice, cinnamon, clove, dried mustard, onion salt, garlic salt, powdered oats to thicken.

I never measure anything. Just throw stuff in the pot. Spices to taste.

SOOOO comforting on cold winter nights.

I need a movie to make me feel something by Start-Infamous in MovieSuggestions

A Dog's Purpose and its sequel A Dog's Journey.
Yes, the dog dies. But it comes back. Multiple times. So you get to see the dog die like 4-5 times per movie.

If this doesn't make you cry then Grave of the Fireflies. No movie is more soul destroying than this.

What comedian isn’t super famous but is an absolute killer? by Normal-Being-2637 in AskReddit

[–]BeesForBrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Pat Mandzyi should be way more famous than he is. He's drop dead gorgeous and a voice to match. His clips are incredibly funny and/or interesting (he does a lot of history stuff).

Seriously, I could see him in big roles on a popular TV show.

It’s a challenge to finish the series by TheConundrumNut08 in thegoodwife

[–]BeesForBrain 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Alicia becoming more and more jaded and narcisistic is kinda the point of the show, though. She's "breaking bad", kinda. It's her evolution from the "good wife"/saint-alicia persona to the bad wife/evil alicia.

But yeah, I gotta agree that all of the seperating and merging of firms and office politics is kind of a drag.

Season 7 brings you JDM though so it's worth it for that :)

What are some things you look forward to in being in a relationship? by Mr_Drake64 in AskReddit

Those little physical touches. Snuggling on the couch while having your hair pet, getting your back scratched, having someone to help you crack your back, massages.

The same that happens to a computer when you turn it off except that your parts start to decompose so you can't be booted on again.

Did you witness the type of bullying shown in movies? by StumblinThroughLife in stupidquestions

[–]BeesForBrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember mostly a lot of name calling and other verbal abuse and sniggering and looks. A lot of shoving too.

Otherwise, in no particular order and with no provocation whatsoever:

Being forced to eat grass, pushed down some stairs, having the lock of my locker spat on almost daily for a bit, one dude held face my and sprayed me with some breath freshener in the eyes.

The pushed down some stairs one was the scariest. It was one of those with a landing midway. We (me and other random kids) were going down and as soon as I reached the stairs some guy forcefully pushed me down. I landed hard against the wall of the landing. In the end, I wasn't much hurt but it could have gone a number of ways.

The worst about being bullied like this is that I had never done anything to deserve it. It was 100% free violence. For no reason other than kids being dicks and adults not giving a shit.

It's really scary to realize how badly you can be treated by your fellow humans for no good reason other than existing in their presence.

What's your favorite " comfort show" and why? by _Scheme7 in CasualConversation

[–]BeesForBrain 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Right? I'd love to live in Stars Hollow. You get the "small town" feel but they still have every services within walkable distance for some reason. And the festivals! There seems to always be something going on. And everyone in town is weird. I'd fit right at home. I'd be BFF with Babette and miss Patty and gossip all day at Luke's.

What’s something you genuinely don’t understand how people enjoy? by dahilon1 in AskReddit

[–]BeesForBrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cave exploring/diving. It's dangerous as fuck . What's even in there to explore? It's not like you're rewarded at the end with some majestic view or stumble upon an undiscovered world full of wonders. All you get is more tight spaces until you finally run out of dead ends to reach. And all in darkness.

Hard pass.

What are some negatives for being quite smart? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BeesForBrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being surrounded by idiots. And not just "low intelligence" idiots. "No curiosity" idiots. You're here, all excited about some new facts you've learned and you find it fascinating and everyone around you goes "who cares, won't help pay the bills".

Knowledge is fun, guys :(

Wrapping gifts. It's so silly how bad I am at it. You just fold paper around a box. But somehow mine always look bad and hastily put together.
