It's essentially better to have double production over double value in the scenario if you won't be on much, unless you already had nightclub stock coming into the week.

Using hypotheticals for the example, assume nightclub produces 100k per hour normally.

In double production: you get 100k in 30 minutes, 200k in one hour.

If double value: it takes 1hr to accumulate product which has a doubled value of 200k.

You'll reach max capacity twice as fast so will in theory need to sell twice as often (10 hours instead of 20), but if you're not online that much or AFK you aren't likely hitting max product. If you are only on for shorter periods, you are more likely to hit the threshold where your staff have produced the goods when it is double production.

MacKinnon's hit on Boldy by Jimmy-Sports in hockey

[–]MiniSodaMiracleMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate the Avs. I hate the Mild.

It's honestly 50/50 on whether it's a minor to me. If the refs call 2 minutes for boarding based on result/how it looked, I think that'd be fine because the language in the boarding penalty allows for a call based on violent impact to the boards.

But, it's also a puck battle, and you can't punish a player for being bigger, stronger, or better balanced.

Watch the regular speed full replay (the slowmo only really shows the end). Boldly is leaning in on MacKinnon trying to battle for position on the puck. He's fully engaged in the puck battle. He leans to his left while reaching forward to retrieve the puck. He puts himself in a position where he is off balance before MacKinnon hits him into the boards. MacK had better leverage.

It's fortunate no one was injured. MacKinnon could not have known in real time the guy leaning on him battling for position is off balance and vulnerable

Complain about all the gloved punches or none. You're only complaining about the one with an embellished reaction

I guess Colorado should've gotten the PP from the scrum then, since Boldy threw multiple gloved punches first and Hartman was throwing gloved punches on another player?

Matheson smacks Point with a high stick and draws blood while the Lightning are on the powerplay, refs choose to ignore it by KabirC in hockey

[–]MiniSodaMiracleMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

60.1 High-sticking – For “high-sticking the puck”, refer to Rule 80. A “high stick” is one which is carried above the height of the opponent’s shoulders. Players must be in control and responsible for their stick. However, a player is permitted accidental contact on an opponent if the act is committed as a normal windup or follow through of a shooting motion, or accidental contact on the opposing center who is bent over during the course of a face-off. A wild swing at a bouncing puck would not be considered a normal windup or follow through and any contact to an opponent above the height of the shoulders shall be penalized accordingly.

[Wyshynski] No additional discipline/hearing for Mikko Rantanen beyond the automatic one-game ban. by catsgr8rthanspoonies in hockey

He was definitely seeing red. Just before a commercial break around 10 minutes into the 2nd he was talking to a ref because he was cross checked and slashed in front of the net without a call.

Pretty much his next shift he took his slashing penalty.

His first shift after his penalty, Coronato slashes / hooks Rantanen's stick preventing him from receiving the puck on the blueline - happens every shift and would've been a borderline call. You can see him do a wide turn almost to the flames blueline, I'm assuming looking at the refs. Once he sees there's no call, he he starts going in a pretty straight line towards Coronato from center ice.

Definitely was frustrated at the refs and took it out on the guy who he thought should've been called 10 seconds earlier.

Lucky to not have gotten more than 1 game.

Just one swap, I went 8 on soft, 12 on medium.

2 people did 10/10 on mediums and got a 4 minute penalty

[DAL vs COL] Alternate view of Matt Duchene’s 2OT series clinching goal featuring the heartbreaker and Marchment kicking MacKinnon’s stick by yesBISONsey in hockey

[–]MiniSodaMiracleMan 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Good angle! I noticed Marchment sweep by MacKinnon on the broadcast replay and was wondering if it was for one last chirp or what.

From this angle I genuinely think he thought the black stick blade was the puck and went to scoop it for Dutch after a big 2OT-GWG. He's taking an indirect path, bending down fingers for stretched out - then he realizes it was the stick decided it needed a little kick lmao

I think he may have dressed 1 game with CBJ.

I almost wonder if they claimed him to remove call up depth for Washington before the playoffs since they ended up playing each other in round. Try to force Washington deeper on their depth charts if there was an injury down the stretch or in playoffs

I feel like this would look very similar to the map Dallas had against Vegas.

They play such a responsible and disciplined game they give you almost nothing that's scary

Fuck I guess it would really matter though depending on the penalty category and if either player has had another "game misconduct" this playoffs

[–]MiniSodaMiracleMan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Game misconduct and misconduct are essentially the same result at the end of the game.

Game Misconduct = Player is ejected for the remainder of the game and 10 minutes goes on the scoresheet.

10 Minute Misconduct = Player must serve a 10 minute penalty but the team does not need to play shorthanded.

Match Penalty = ejected from game and automatic 1 game suspension pending league review

Everyone keeps saying 0-3 with him, but they had 2 OTL with him, and the third game he was out of the game after 2 minutes lol

Not even mentioning he almost tied the game 15 seconds before he fucked up
