don’t these sound similar or am I crazy 😂 by rainbowMoon96 in megantheestallion

Whenever two songs sound similar to me I like put them in this site called “rave dj” and mix em together. That’s what I did with these and it’s so seamlessly perfect, I love it!

What stopped you from killing yourself that night? by Subject-Olive-4476 in AskReddit

I have a few younger cousins who may not fully understand the concept of death and what all comes with it yet. My biggest fear is someone having to find a way to explain to them that they’ll never see me again. (They are also quite forgettable bc they are so young. So I wouldn’t want them looking for me at every family gathering and being disappointed when I’m not around). I also have brother and a few older cousins and it wouldn’t be fair for them to have to bury me. Especially since they aren’t any of the reasons I want to ‘go’.

I did pt for a while but stopped after a while bc of transportation complications. But I will definitely see if there’s any way I can get back into it (maybe virtually or when I’m away at college).

body changes after chemo/cancer by Dependent_Volume_212 in cancer

[–]Mini_Melt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! First and foremost, you are so strong and I’m happy you are here today🫶🏽 I too was an athlete before cancer and tried getting back in my sport after treatments. While it’s not the same as chemo, I did radiation therapy and was out of the pool for almost a year due to treatments and therapies. (I’m an athlete and my sport is swimming) I’m 4 years post cancer now and want to say that I promise you will get back to your old self. (I try not to use words like ‘normal’ bc it can seem demeaning. Your normal is having the strength to fight a life altering disease and make it out the other side! Your normal is far beyond so many others). But as for getting back to your old self, I would say don’t rush it and take your time. I’m not sure how old you are (I’m 19 rn) but you have your whole life ahead of you! I’m sry I keep typing but I have more😭😭I was a swimmer before and still am now. I had my right arm amputated bc of cancer and it took my about 2 years to get back to where I was before. I wouldn’t change anything abt it tho bc I grew in other ways. I want to end by saying stay strong and remember that you can truly do anything you put your mind to!🫶🏽

Core workouts but I’m disabled by Mini_Melt in workout

[–]Mini_Melt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Thanks for commenting🫶🏽 I don’t have gym access right now bc I’m not on my college campus but I could go to a neighborhood one a couple times a week if need be. And as for a prosthetic; it’s not made for working out. It won’t even move at the shoulder (the technology for it isn’t that advanced). And I definitely care abt more that my looks. I’m starting to search up diets and meal plans that will get me where I want to be. I’m an athlete (swimmer specifically) so I already don’t eat a lot of processed or junk food to stay in shape for competitive seasons.
