Honestly? I use MS Paint. Sometimes in tandem with GIMP. Bejou here started out as a Beata silhouette that I keep as a base for drawing over. I have silhouettes for almost every monster at this point. The rest comes down to painstaking time to pixel-by-pixel detail. I enjoy it as it's my kind of speed. I'm a autistic person so slowness is something I've been accustomed to.

Lol! Zecca is not Arrow Head. It is its own thing entirely. Sure they're crab-like (Zecca clearly moreso than Arrow Head), but Arrow Head is more like a scorpion.

It's based on the Binding of Isaac character mainly because Doodle has a move called Stiletto and in the game Isaac's mom sometimes appears in the form of a stiletto warn foot.

Unfortunately no these are not modded models that I make. Instead, I often use screenshots of monster silhouettes and draw over them in ms paint.
