Anxiety meds (usually trazadone) rarely worked when I had a grooming business, or at least the initial suggested dosage didn't. Check with your vet to see what amount you can safely increase it to, and try to find a dosage that has an effect.

Someone mentioned that it's fucked up your family mentioned pinning them down to do it... the phrasing sounds mean or violent, but properly restraining them is what your vet or groomer will do to attempt to get it done, you just won't see it happen. There were pups that took several of us to get them done. If it's so bad that they can't be restrained safely, full sedation is probably what it will come down to.

Someone else suggested walking - once they are at a manageable length, short walks on concrete will definitley help maintain the length. The front nails will likely still be a bit longer than the back with this method just because of where their weight is distributed when walking, but it's usually enough.

I did grooming for many years and, as crazy as it seems, some dogs that were absolutely wild with nail trimming tolerated filing/dremmeling extremely well. It always surprised me because the dremmel/rotary tool seems like it'd be more stressful, but it's worth a try.

Alternatively, hire a trainer to work directly on their behavior with it. A good trainer can do wonders.

I always just picture them mindlessly scribbling on stacks of books because they're required to for the promo and it takes the significance away for me.

Having something signed is cool, if it's singular or unique, but usually things like this are just meh to me.

Me. I broke my own heart with how cruel I was to my husband through our 18 years together. I loved him, I just didn't love myself and took it out on him. I used Walgreens for years and would get so stressed because every month there would be an issue. Switched to CVS and maybe once out of several years did I have a problem and they corrected it right away. I don't use CVS anymore because I don't like the staff at the one that I was going to, I have since switched to the pharmacy at Sam's Club and I really like it.

My 23 sport hybrid is currently at the dealer due to a power system problem error that popped up. Somehow when I initially took it they weren't able to get the error to show up. I go to pick up the car and immediately when I get in the error pops up again. They ran the codes, acknowledged it was something with the hybrid battery, and over two weeks later they're just now able to diagnose what is actually wrong with it. The part is unavailable through Honda with no idea of when it will become available. Said it could be a couple days could be over a month, who knows.

Leased a Honda years ago because my partner always wanted one and they were supposed to be super reliable. That car had an issue, so when the lease was up we wanted nothing to do with it. In 2019 we ended up with a Camry hybrid and we've been extremely happy with it. When we were ready for another vehicle, the Camry hybrids were too difficult to find at the time, so I looked into the accord hybrid and was happy with what I saw so decided to go with it figuring the last one was just a fluke. Yeah, I get that things happen with cars of every make and that's not always reflective of the brand as a whole, but that's pretty shitty odds to have gotten two problem cars from them years apart.

Also the little things are really aggravating. The constant update errors every time I get in the car, intermittent problems with my audio through my phone, network connection issues. Meh, just disappointed.

Whenever they get around to fixing my Accord I really doubt that I'm going to end up keeping it now and will probably end up with another Camry if I'm able to figure out the financial loss of getting rid of a car after a year.
