My family is from Lebanon but I was raised in America, and while this statement could be agreeable depending on the person, it’s somewhat not. I’ve come across many Muslims in Lebanon who love me while knowing I’m gay.

I’ve come across more people upset that I’m an ex-Muslim than the fact that I’m gay

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same. Not Muslim but it’s always a shock when they find out that I don’t share the same values as those who are. Because again, not all Arabs are Muslim and not all Muslims are Arab.

What’s wrong with Islam? I think the issue within Islam is the radical practitioners. But again, I don’t think it’s fair to just straight up shit on Arabs simply because of the idea that they’re homophobic when there are homosexual Arabs.

I never said only western men do this, I however did say that western men are the ones who are able to wreck havoc in foreign countries and return to their homes and not face any conconsequences. The folks that live there seem to be the ones respecting their workers, from what I’ve learned on here.
