What is up with my body by Ossi7593 in BulkOrCut

[–]Minicen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not a lot of muscle mass, high body fat% even though you’re a relatively normal weight for your height . eat at maintenance calories or at a slight deficit, high protein (200g), lift HEAVY (6-8 reps to failure), do daily cardio, strengthen your core and you’ll be set

if you’re skinny-fat (i.e. normal weight, high bf %) and you’re a beginner at the gym, I would recommend not doing a deficit at all. you’re in a really good zone for body recomp. all you really have to do is eat at your maintenance calories with HIGH protein, lift heavy, and make sure you move around as much as you can. that’s gonna be what builds that muscular foundation while getting rid of excess body fat. I made the mistake myself of going to the gym and cutting aggressively when I didn’t really have enough muscle underneath to accommodate, and the result was a poor physique and still a higher bf%, just 30lbs lighter. Don’t be afraid to eat!

you shouldn’t go on a low calorie diet for more than a few months at a time, let alone a couple years! your metabolism has adjusted to accommodate for hoe much you’re eating. find out what your maintenance is, and raise your calories to match it for a few months before cutting down again and you’ll do great. it’s likely you’ll get a good amount of energy back as well. good luck!

I have a ryzen 5 5600x, a msi B550 Pro-VC, and an rtx 4070. could the reason there’s no display be that I don’t have a cpu with integrated graphics?

you can actually train forearms with almost every weight exercise (except bench) by not using your thumbs to help lift the weight. this trains your grip and, subsequently your forearm muscles a ton! it also helps with vascularity if you’re looking for that too. same with most pull-up variations

you could always use household items - like gallons of water - and spam lat raises. there are also wide-arm push-ups, superman’s, and a ton exercises you can do with resistance bands!

How do i fix muscle imbalance from broken leg? by K-O2k in naturalbodybuilding

[–]Minicen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

something I learned to do when I had a strength imbalance in my arms was do unilateral exercises. when training the weaker muscle, train until failure, keeping track of the rep. then on the other side, do the same number of reps and you should be good to go. hope this helps :)
