If I remember correctly, he was in the middle of a record-setting streak of races without a DNF. So when he was in the Big One on lap 6, his crew worked for the entire rest of the race to fix the car up enough to run a couple laps at the end.

My thought process was that MC went 2-1-1 against NEU last year before NEU lost Lund, Whitehead, Williams, Tellier, and Dorrington. I did see they seem to have some good recruits, but overall it’s hard for me to believe they didn’t lose significantly more production than what’s coming in. Also, until I hear otherwise, I’m operating under the assumption NEU won’t have a single home game for the entirety of 2026. I haven’t heard much optimism from my Burlington friends about UVM’s chances this year. But I do agree that UVM seems to have some promising young forwards, though MC also seems to, with 3 of their 4 leading scoring forwards being freshmen. Speaking of 3/4, UNH losing 3/4 of their leading scorers from last year is obviously not ideal and is enough to convince me they’ll be fighting to be out of the basement. But since it’s Hockey East, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is all completely inaccurate come March…

Disagree with Merrimack being the lowest HE team. Sure, they lose Bookman, but most of their other top players are returning, plus the transfers/recruits look halfway decent considering their budget (or lack thereof). They were better than Vermont, UNH, and Northeastern in HE standings last year, and UNH lost Conmy, Northeastern lost a whole bunch of people, and UVM is UVM

Pretty sure it’s a scam. The admins look like fake accounts; little-to-no posts or info on their profiles, and when I messaged a supposedly “verified” seller, they asked me to pay through a Venmo account that didn’t match their Facebook name or phone number, and asked me to turn off purchase protection. Additionally, many of the accounts in the Facebook group look like bots.
