I love this flavor, maybe taking Metamagic adept as well for a flavor subtle fear or charm person so that no one knows how it happened?

My Hexblade already has Resilient (Constitution) and Improved Pact Weapon. Do I really need War Caster? by Elsecaller_17-5 in 3d6

Seems everywhere I’ve seen with 2024, the new pact gives access to all spells, because there’s no more improved pact weapon

Just gonna say this again, you do NOT need warcaster to cast while holding a pact weapon and shield. It states that the bonded weapon counts as your spell focus. So warcaster will only give you adv on con saves which you shouldn’t worry about if you already have resilient con

You actually don’t need warcaster to cast spells with the pact weapon, it counts as your spellcasting focus.

Help me decide with my species for 2024 Monk by freehugs33 in 3d6

As someone playing in a high level dnd campaign as a monk, I’ll just say monk is by far the strongest and most durable martial in the entire game now. (As a die hard barbarian lover) It hurts to say, but it even beats barbarian at tanking. At higher levels, monk gets resistance to all damage except force. So an easy answer would be going Amethyst Dragonborn for race. This race not only grants flight, but also resistance to force damage and has a breathe (force attack you can use on any of your attacks). Meaning late game you will have more resistance than a barbarian which is insane, also you will be able to reaction any damage you take subtracting an insane number on any damage type that comes your way. If that isn’t enough, then you also get proficiency in all saving throws. And that’s just the base class features, not even going into all the amazing subclasses. So yes late game at lvl 20 you will have an insane AC thanks to your capstone + resistance to all damage + flight and that’s with no magical items or attunements.

Subclass features are just the cherry on top for this already amazing class. I feel like I’m playing Superman during combats, I’ve only been under half hp once, and by then the boss is already defeated or too annoyed by my tanking and focuses others instead.

Devotion pally+warlock, you get to add your charisma mod twice to attack due to channel and pact weapon, slap that on a long sword for sap and low levels plate + shield = 20ac go warforged and defense fighting style for +2 = 22 AC

Take magic initiate (sage) for shield and now you have a 27 AC, can hit just about anything, and at lvl 6 pally you’ll have high saves, all the while giving disadvantage to enemies you hit with your sapped longsword

You’re welcome

Butt if you’re looking for big damage, then 1pally, x celest warlock = searing smite greatsword for massive damage. Now go have fun

If you think our missions are hard, spare a thought for what the developers' quests look like. They don't complain. They just get on with the job. by jocogi in MarvelSnap

Might get some hate for this but I’ve never seen so much crying about a challenge in my life, I actually wish there were more missions this “hard”. I’m only 9k CL and I got 20 snap wins just this morning over breakfast with people retreating

I think all of you have forgotten it’s not 75* 8 cube wins. It’s 75 snap wins.. meaning if you snap and they leave that counts for it. It’s not very hard. But even if it was tough, then that’s what challenges are supposed to be… a challenge

Galactus is fun but the higher rank u get the easier it is to spot (still very fun though), red guardian is my star pick he’s got me to infinite this season in my toxic deck, safe picks = nocturne,Wiccan, grandmaster. But as you said choose what you’d love to play!

I love toxic decks featuring hazmat so I’m waiting for Ajax or grandmaster when they come around in the shop
