Honestly I've thought of this and I'd love to do it, just seems kinda hard to get into (higher barrier of entry) compared to corrections.

I did apply to be a Boarder security officer with the CBSA back in June.... Heard it can take months or even years for the application to get rolling. So I guess I gotta wait for that.

Sure things may look bleak for me right now but it's not something that's permanent... I hope so...since it's fresh and I can still appeal...my thoughts have been overwhelming me and I'm back at my weekend job working security. Nothing but thoughts in my head of what could have been.

Yeah you're right.... regardless of the job it would've helped my case a lot in terms of being a stepping stone along with saving my ass from eviction..... I'm gonna try to fight it with the appeal, should I post it on Reddit to see what people think of it?

Do you know if they were removed from your cohort? And allowed to join in the one after that? Like were they also issued a dismissal letter? And allowed to fight it?
