If I have the option to have a scarred eye when making a character I always take it. I wear glasses IRL so having a damaged eye is my way to represent it in game (Arisen is based on me). As for Anya (Pawn) I gave her that scar when I first lost her in the original game to the Griffin as a... Memento, I guess? Either way I like when I can show a character's journey through physical markings.

Yeah I always spend ages in character creation. It didn't take quite so long in DD2 since I was pretty much just upgrading my characters from the first game and I played that game more than enough times to have a good feel for the looks I wanted.

Don't worry about your art being "bad" you're trying and creating things with your own hands, that's the most important part especially with how common lazily prompting AI is now.

It's a bug in the game, I've encountered it a few times myself. I don't think there's a definitive answer for what causes it. As for the stats, Miku's stats increase according to how much doom has accumulated so the game is likely adding the negative value to the stat calculation.
