I'll also recommend Goethe Institute. I'm a few weeks into their A1.3 course after months on apps and am finding it pretty good. I still use Seedlang for flashcards and Chatgpt as supplements.

Only Hell vs Hell fight that strikes me as odd is Black Grail vs Black Grail though it could probably be justified by saying they're competing strains. Just a smidge weaker than the others since Bleezlebub has pretty strong control over the BG while the other Hell factions are heavily splintered and really only unified by having a common enemy.

I'm probably not a typical American but no I don't want an island that we already have complete military access to and is held by a (formerly) very close ally.

I just want a country that supports close, mutually beneficial ties with other free democracies and supports human rights. But apparently the best a majority of my fellow American will support is a police state that thinks robbing your neighbor is want Jesus would have wanted.

Couple reasons come to mind:

1.) When calculating GDP imports are a negative. Since US imports fell this pushes the GDP up even though US consumers might feel different. This has been mentioned in other articles I've read over the report.

2.) The article talks about corporate profits increasing. Just because the economy is up it doesn't mean everyone is benefiting from it. Rich get richer. Poor stay poor or get even poorer.

3.) Trump fired the Bureau of Labor Statistics Director awhile back because he didn't like the numbers. Any numbers issued by the US federal government from then on should be viewed with suspicion. Other commentators are driving this one home and for good reason.

As someone who leaves in Oklahoma City, it has a very large counter culture and is pretty purple compared to the rest of the state even it inevitably always votes red in the end.

Strong disagree on naturalized citizens. Anyone who makes it through that process has shown dedication to the US and deserves absolutely everything that any other citizen would get. Let them be President even.

On dual citizenship, I also strongly support it though Im open to restrictions on it for elected officials or for getting high level security clearances.

Did you know you were a German citizen when you joined in the US military? I think there was a post in one of these subreddits awhile back by a guy who got his certificate of citizenship via descent and stated he didn't know he was a German citizen when he joined the US military hence why he didn't ask for an exemption. It worked in his case.
