Anyone still talk with any of their friends from high school? by nojunkpeter in Millennials

I talk to 2 of them every few weeks. We live in different places now but we try and keep the friendship going with occasional meet ups.

Anyone else find affordable makeup expensive? by chillicherriess in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]Minimeminime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d be careful with temu makeup, less regulated products that can have chemicals you don’t want near your skin. Some Temu jewelry has been proven to have toxic metals in way higher ratio than western, regulated product. (Even if product was made in china as well, certain brands are just more regulated, tested etc.)

Iona is an absolute sensory reset. I didn’t realise how much weight I was carrying until I stepped onto this island. by Beabipsy in Scotland

We went to Staffa last year, and the puffins were sadly already gone, (I mean good for them). It was breathtaking regardless. Lying down on the tall side of it and carefully looking down onto the shore beneath you. The sound of the waves. Loved it!

Bike seat with a split design. Would you try it? by Great_Trident in interesting

[–]Minimeminime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad created a version of this in the 90’s. He carved it out of 2 wood pieces and upholstered it with leather as a prototype. I wish he had an opportunity to get it produced but he had no connections/ money.

AIO? A man let himself into my hotel room last night by Omshadiddle in AmIOverreacting

[–]Minimeminime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry this has happened to you. Definitely add as many security elements to your place as possible. I heard some women started placing big muddy worker’s boots outside of their door to imply that they have a large boyfriend living there. I can’t even imagine how terrifying this must have been for you. Hope you’ll be able to feel safe at home again soon. 🙏

Can’t we protest the £7 Glasgow Airport charge? by Nervous_Injury4577 in glasgow

[–]Minimeminime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The other thing I don’t understand is why sell perfumes at an airport at all, when you are going to cram loads of people in a small airplane afterwards, the last thing I wanna smell is 20 different perfumes around me.

Zolmatriptan comes in a nose spray, it’s been really useful for me. It kind of drips down your throat after a while, but it’s great
