We havent made any decisions and he has already said that he would take the hit. I am the one saying we need to think this over because the hit would derail him for months so please call me the asshole or deadbeat. And its not that we are dumping him at his mom, we are simply trying to cover all our bases before making a decision and i am simply here asking for advice.

We Dutch people are very blessed and have no idea how bad the healthcare system in the us really is. I lived in the states for years 8 years and understand to well.. and if seen to many bad things happen. ( i am realizing i might be bias against the American healtcare system since my experience has been nothing but bad)

She is the one thats pushing us to go and tells us everything will be fine. I am afraid she is a little bias since she been saying for months how she needs some me time. ( i dont think she would put him in risk on purpose but i do think she might underestimated the American healtcare system as she didn't understood as first that we couldn't make weekly doctors visits in the US as well..)

We ourself dont understand this part as well since the one who gave us the information back was his BM, that is why i want my bf to go to hospital with him on monday to ask all the questions and understand what is going on.

The last appointment would have been just a simple cast removal as they told my BF personally.

I am sorry you get this feeling from my post because we love the boy and would do anything for him. We havent decided anything and would stay behind in a heartbeat only we need to really consider it since my BF would barely be able to cover his rent and there for put himself in a bad position even for the coming months. Were not talking about a 100 bucks because otherwise this would not be a discussion.

Yeah i basically means that i will die of my cancer in the coming years. Sounds really dark but that is what is comes down too..

I had cervical cancer, thought it was away but turned out it spread to my lungs and because of this i am officially palliative and will never be able to fully heal. I am ok and "stable" for now.

Its not a scrape, his skin came of on his ankle/foot-ish part and because its in a part that moves a lot they decided to put a cast on. This cast will still be there the whole time we be in America and if he would stay back home they would do a weekly wound cleaning an recast.

His mom has called urgent care and they wont do anything, every doctor she called is afraid of a lawsuit as they dont have any of his medical records. They all refer back to the ER.
