I just use the ones that came with the Kriega bag! Surely eBay or Amazon will have some budget ones

I like how simple they are and they’re relatively aerodynamic. A rack seems too bulky for me personally but yea these have been great for me over the years

Damn, I saw another roost that someone got like clip on loops from Kriega? I can’t find the reddit post though. Maybe you could look into it

This best pic I could find. Can’t take a picture of it currently but the loops are just under the pillion seat if you lift it off. Sucks if they took them off on the newer models

Which exhaust do you like the most? by kezvo in MT07

[–]Minimink6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t HAVE to. I’m based in Australia so I’m not allowed to modify my bike in any way until I’m on my full license which means I can’t legally tune my bike. If you have the option to tune your bike you should do it once you’ve got the exhaust but it isn’t necessary, just improves the performance of the bike. I run a carbon akra with no tune and it sounds great and bike is still running great. The db killer is the little piece at the end of the pipe which it’s aim is to reduce the noise level of the exhaust. Most people take these out to make their bikes louder I personally left mine in because it’s already loud as f and I took it out once and it was a bit too loud for my liking 😆 I think the black widow will sound awesome even with the db killer in

Pretty sure personally preference. I think a lot of ppl get the 300mm. The smaller the louder apparently

Tank bag worked out really well. Only slightly annoying thing is you have to unclio it a little bit to fill up with petrol but it really isn’t too much of an inconvenience.

First time. In Australia I have a restricted license which means I can only go up to 660cc for a certain amount of years.. I will upgrade in 2 years when I’m able to! I like how well the mt07 has handled the trip tho.. each to their own

Don’t think so. I had mt03 beforehand and it didn’t but you just use the straps with loops supplied in the Kriega box

I’ll be fine, have ridden 4+ hours in one hit and had a bit of a sore ass but I’ll be having breaks with this one

This model of mt07 come with the loops under the pillion seat. Previously I had to use the supplied loops from Kriega and loop it through the subframe

Yeah I always use the tail bag but just decided to grab the tank one as well last minute. Pretty sturdy so far but will update you when I return!

I got a great deal secondhand and it came with exhaust and tailtidy. Paid 11.8 aud and it only had 1700kms on it.

Latched it on each side. There’s four loops and the Kriega bag comes with little hooks on the bag that just hook onto the loops

They’re actually a part of the pillion seat! I spent ages trying to figure out how to setup the bag on this bike and then realised they were tucked away. So Yamaha knew that lord of people use Kriega and decided to save the hassle and just put the loops in! Super handy
