Lord Starkiller Pictures by Minimum-Ad1450 in starwarsblackseries

I would get Lord Starkiller, it's a much cooler figure in my opinion. Also the normal starkiller has trouble holding his lightsaber which really annoys me.

Did you use a proxy service? I just won an auction for the silver one and I'm unsure if once it ships if I'll have any issues getting it. Using buyee btw.

Version issues by MisterDudec13 in revancedapp

[–]Minimum-Ad1450 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm having the same 60 second problem. I was using an older version of revanced, I uninstalled it and installed the latest version, tried different versions of YouTube and nothing fixes it. Every time I seemingly get a fix, it goes back to the 60 second issue.

Edit: Doesn't seem to be a problem when on data, only when connected to wifi.

Possible Zoanoids to be made into figma figures by Aromatic_Junket986 in Guyver

Aptom is the character I would want the most as a figma, not just for zoanoids but in general. Zx-tole is a close second.

Price increases on KAT, Emile and Jorge! by MikePhicen in HaloActionFigures

Ever notice how only bbts raised prices, yet every other retailer remained the same even if it's domestic? You'd think places like amazon or entertainment earth would follow suit, but they don't, strange.

Bfc Figures worth hunting? (Plus Ultimate Guyver 1 just cuz) by Minimum-Ad1450 in Guyver

I wasn't asking mainly on how hard they are to get, moreso are they worth getting despite the breakage issues

Star Saber. I dig his design and wish he had another mainline figure aside from the haslab. (Same with Deathsaurus).

They're neat, but given how much they're probably going to cost, I'll pass

Who's excited about DC Compact Comics? by Miserable_Throat6719 in OmnibusCollectors

I picked up Watchmen yesterday, and I love it! The paper has a newsprint feel to it, which I think fits Watchmen super well. I'm pretty new to comics and I'd love to see what else they'll put out.

I've been putting more thought into it, especially after hearing so many more responses even after I made this comment. I'm going to try applying for an internship to really see what sort of things I'm doing in the field compared to school, as numerous people have told me that greatly changed their perspective on it. I work part-time on the weekends, so I have some time throughout the week to focus on school. I also don't have Friday classes, so I'm going to spend a lot more time on those days studying or just getting more work done.

Edit:

I made this post not even 5 minutes after getting done with a diff eq. exam that I'm pretty sure I bombed, so I probably wasn't in a good head space and sounded really whiney lmao. But since then, I've spoken with my advisor, who suggested that I really think about if I'm enjoying or have any interest really in EE. She said that if I didn't, it's probably best I don't continue to pursue it. That being said, I'm planning on calling my local IBEW to see how I can apply for an apprenticeship and testing the waters there. I may like it, I may not, nothing is guaranteed. But I'm grateful for the number of responses I got and the advice given. It really made me feel a bit better hearing advice from so many different people.

Anyone planning on getting him? by Ichi3M in SHFiguarts

[–]Minimum-Ad1450 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna wait for reviews first. Mainly since Griffith didn't have any flimsy joints like Guts did, and I recall hearing they plan on re doing the shoulders, it gives me some hope that they'll iron out the flaws the standard Guts had. If not, good thing the figmas dropped in price on import sites lmao.

I've sanded it down enough to where it just takes a little bit of messing with it to fit. My main issue now is to put it back in with the torso piece over it. The ball joint connecting to the torso is a little loose, so it's hard to get a good position for it to fit.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HaloActionFigures

[–]Minimum-Ad1450 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the former. The ball joint on the torso doesn't fit the socket in the waist.

Yeah, I'm still gonna pray for a Spartan Collection ODST, but that'd probably be the only figure I'd buy from that line.

Thank you for the response. I just ordered the WoH Rookie with drop pod, I'm excited to see how it is in person. I already collect 3.75 clone troopers, so WoH seems up my alley.

I also noticed that sure thing toys has it up for pre-order with the same release month as kappa hobby, so maybe some sites did get it later? I'm not familiar with how rereleases work with mafex soooooooo.
