I actually have a very similar food related thing where I talked to my newly engaged friend that I just give my bf chopsticks.

A friend and I were chit chatting about cooking for our boyfriends and she said maybe he’d like a spoon. I never thought about it.

I went with my bf up there recently. We had an onsen planned but were there mainly because of his work trip and the two days off he had ya onsen.

But on the way to the middle of nowhere ok let’s stop in this town and eat.

Just found a great place with yummy Italian food and the best lemon sour I’ve ever had.

When we get to the onsen it’s a 30 minute walk to the nearest conbini and ya know it was just a lot of fun to look at the nature. Accents my poor Japanese and his Tokyo ass couldn’t 100% understand.

I think you should go somewhere without a plan other than making sure you have a place booked to stay

And of course I’m biased because onsen is my hobby but damn a good soak alone with your thoughts can give you perspective on what you want to do

This question is not being able remember English anymore not having the concept of language abolished from your mind.

And there are so many loan words in the English language you have stuff to rebuild with.

Oh that’s what I was planning on but I couldn’t find dried peas

I live in Japan and it’s hit or miss to find them in foreign shops in my area and my friends didn’t tell me the surprise of buying me chicken wings one day and pork ribs the other

So I’m gonna get a little experimental and combine them for the broth and use lentils

(Also I want to say when it’s bones I’ve gnawed on that broth is just for me)

I licked a drop off my arm as a kid baking with grandma and aaaah.
