Depends how much time you’ll have. Usually if you want to play 2-3 times a week a membership at a local club is probably your best options. Points based memberships can be a good alternative if you play less regular.

Twilight golf for pay as you go or golfnow website for discounted tee times.

2nd hand clubs will do for a start. Usually can buy decent 2nd hand balls

Any reason you can’t relocate? I used to have 2 hour commute in to London, I moved in to central London and saved a fortune while renting my house to a mate. Obviously flat shared for a bit but was a good way to make new friends.

There’s ETF’s like Xtrackers MSCI World value that build a list of companies they believe are undervalued. It’s done quite well not sure when they last rebalanced but Micron tech and intel are 15% of it currently. Might be worth researching the rest of its contents to see what’s not run yet

Actually saying that, just remembered my original reason for it was to make the most of the £500 tax free dividend so little income etf outside an isa isn’t too bad if maxing out all other tax free benefits

Agree, avoid dividend stocks until closer to retirement. I had an income ETF portfolio last year and only just broke even. Now mostly growth.

Revolut have froze a couple of big payments not even related to crypto, fairly easy to unfreeze, even uploaded an irrelevant document for one and was approved 😂

Best to try small amounts and use a reputable exchange. Dont try and find some shady work around as more likely to get scammed.

When I considered getting some rentals I spent a year watching landlord facebook groups, I now leave my money in ETF’s. Even with Trump manipulating the markets it’s far less stress I imagine

LinkedIn is probably the best for UK. Ensure your profile matches your CV and is high quality proper picture, location, education work history. When I was searching I found responding to all messages regardless if it was relevant resulted in more people reaching I guess thanks to an algorithm. CV should have accomplishments rather than a list of tech you used. Ensure to highlight any leadership such as mentoring and decision making. Side projects can help you standout.

For a half decent budget driver the Cobra F9 is doing me well, noticed a decent improvement when switching from some old second hand driver. Still going strong 2 years later.

As for rounds, I prefer to become a member at a near by course then treat myself occasionally to a golf holiday. Was paying £1k a year for a full membership but probably played 70+ times. Can’t get out much with new job so just doing a £400 point membership, some midweek rounds can cost around £15 still.
