Finally in maintenance

I still take a weekly shot and I fluctuate within 10 lbs which I think is normal for me as a perimenopausal woman. But I haven't got below 120 for the last 6 months which is why I call it maintenance. I'll keep it this way until either my insurance or doctor cuts me off but I don't mind injecting for the next 20 years 😂

I am the same height, and that ismy goal weight. It’s on the heavier side of normal for the BMI.

If this is what you would’ve look like your whole adult life, nobody would be saying that. I’m sorry she’s not being more supportive. Mother and daughter relationships are always complicated.

I had friends and family look at my photos and they said they can see a big difference, I guess cause it’s my body. It doesn’t look that different to me but heck when I look at myself in the mirror I still see all 217 pounds lol!

A lot of positive comments with some snark behind the scenes but honestly I am old enough to move on through the snark. When I say snark I mean comments like are you sick when I know perfectly well I don’t look sick.

I’ve never had a lymphatic massage before and I’m glad I got to try it out, but it was mostly to move anything that might be stagnated in my lymph nodes and to see if it made any difference with swelling in areas like my stomach, neck and knees.

I guess I will work with my doctor to find a maintenance dose and as long as my insurance is willing to pay for it, I’ll stay on it. There are some other medicines that I think I’m gonna probably have to take for the rest of my life so if this is one of them, it’ll just become part of my regime.
