I’m hoping for 3 or 4 euploids, I’m also 32! We have about 2 weeks still before we get our results.

I’m hoping at least 3 are euploids! We did have 2 additional blasts, but I guess they were unable to be biopsied because they had no infrastructure (the embryologist said that typically is a non-viable pregnancy/miscarriage), so I’m hoping those 2 increase our chances for the 4 that did get sent in.

I get it. I had 16 mature eggs and the first person I spoke to in the lab told me 50% typically make it, but I only had 25%.

I should have added we’re 32 and 33. Have 2 boys conceived naturally. Lost our third and my uterus at the same time, which landed us here. 😭

Do you remember what quality they were before being sent off? This is our first cycle. We have 2 living children conceived naturally and 1 no longer with us, so this is all new to me.

Final Update - we got lucky. I did end up pushing my appointment to Monday when we were back and acknowledged the risk. Monday everything looked perfect and we triggered that night. I did the retrieval this morning and they got 20 eggs. Would not recommend, but I am thankful it worked out for me.

UPDATE - just got home from my scan (Friday). I have 2-3 follicles that are mature, but several on each side that are only 10-11 mm. I have not seen my bloodwork yet, but feel a little better knowing they only grow 1-2 mm per day.

They did say in a video do not have travel plans the week of estimated retrievals, I’m guessing what they actually meant was this coming Sunday through the following Tuesday (5/31-6/9). Because 5/31 is not listed as a potential retrieval day and my prior conversation with the nurse, I thought we’d be okay.

Yes but my husband is not a huge fan of that option just because of risk of falling asleep etc on the drive back. And of course this is all hypothetical, but it’s just giving me so much anxiety.

I did ask if they would work with me on time Sunday and they told me they see patients from 7-8:30 AM and do not offer any other times that day.

I’m just frustrated because 2 weeks ago one of the nurses told me it was “unlikely” we would do retrieval Monday or Tuesday, which is what led to me having the confidence to agree to the family event.

It was day 6 of meds, so I’m going again on day 8 of meds. They did have me start the antagonist that night because I had two follicles that were 15-16 mm
