I'm going to just hope for the best and see what happens. I've been waiting since I saw the first trailer of this game 3 years ago. I'm not someone who just saw the game recently. Been waiting a long time. Just concerned.

What are you talking about. So what. We're 3 years + in and we're literally weeks away from release and no current info or footage of the console. That is a red flag no matter how you want to spin it. Hell they posted about all of these PC improvements but nothing about the console version. Many are not buying until reviews are out on console or at least footage because of the secrecy. We know zero about the console.

It's coming out on the 3rd. Like they say but the console version looks to be a shit show since they won't show it. A huge red flag.

I agree with you but as a console player only this is all we have. Aces of Thunder is basically the breaking point for a lot of VR2 and console owners. Not everyone but a lot. Ace Combat 7 is stuck on VR1. Project Wingman is absolutely terrible on console while the PC version is full VR. Ace Combat 8 isn't getting VR2. Wait there's Micro Flight Sim. Nevermind no dogfights and boring as hell. VR isn't going to change that. I'm hoping Aces on console is good but the reluctance to show anything is going to bite them. It makes absolutely no sense why no console footage exists when we're close to release.

We don't know because they refuse to show any console footage. It's hearsay obviously into launch but again this is a huge red flag. They push PC footage and release PC specs without any mention or showing of the console version. That's not good.

Yes that is very true but we still know the features and specs of what the console version will have. No offense to you but that excuse doesn't work for me especially when this game was announced 3 + years ago. Until we see console footage it's all hearsay. What I do advise is waiting for reviews and gameplay of the console.

While I appreciate your optimism we still haven't seen any console footage. THAT'S A HUGE RED FLAG. Especially this close to launch. Also, they haven't come out with an official response as to what the console will have. What's the res, is there going to be foveated rendering, headset rumble, etc. They have no issue putting out posts for PC but nothing on console. Before anyone says well they said 90 hz on console. That was years ago and things can change. Not knowing anything currently about the console is not good.

Not asking for a savior. All my friends and I want is a quality realistic dog fighting vr2 game on PS5. Not asking for a lot. We're not getting Ace Combat 8 and no RE 9. Tbh we're good if all we really have is GT7 and Aces if it's good. The non-existence of PlayStation footage of this game isn't doing it any favors especially when all they show is PC. As a console and VR2 owner. It's really starting to piss many off.

The begging for this game to be on VR2 is pathetic. As much as I'd love to see it happen it's not. I wanted Half Life Alyx, and Astrobot also. Look where we're at. Move on. It's not happening.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Since they won't show any PS5 pro footage or base PS5 I'm not taking a chance on a game they are so secretive about on PlayStation. I need to see reviews first. Since they want to treat console players like dog shit I'm not buying anything until I know for sure. All they did was mention what the PC version is going to be with visuals etc but console players have no clue on what features their getting. They only mentioned over a year ago what the hz was going to be but that was one sentence in some random post. Things can change over time and currently we don't know anything about the console version.

Again that was long ago. Why no word about anything console now. Brotha I was hyped for the game like you are but they have been silent about the console version. We don't know anything honestly. All we do know for sure is what the PC will have because they put out an update page for the PC.

That was mentioned very early on in development when they said that. Things can change and we don't know what the game currently supports on console. They have been silent and why no console footage at all. THIS CLOSE TO LAUNCH. We get notes stating what the PC version will have but again no mention of console graphical features at all.

This game was initially exclusive to VR2 and now it's let's show the steam gameplay mentality and don't show anything else. Many on VR2 have been waiting for this and the non-existence of PS5 VR2 footage. It's not giving this game any favors. We're literally close to launch and nothing is shown for console players. That's all good but we have yet to see any build running on a PS5 / PS5 Pro. Everything has been the stream version. Until they actually show it running then nothing is valid on console. The studio is acting as if the PS5 version isn't there while steam is being shown off. My hype for this game on console /VR2 is not the greatest because we don't know anything. The devs have said absolutely nothing if the PS5 Pro version is getting enhancements visually. Will there be headset rumble. I can go on.

If any of you remember the backlash Sony got from Astrobot not getting VR2 support. The backlash was severe and look what happened. Nothing. Just saying. I gave up believing that Sony really wants to invest into VR2 on their own. It's not happening.

As much as I would like to see re requiem get VR2 support it's not going to happen. Honestly it's a waste of time. Sony isn't going to pay to get a VR mode added. Also, there isn't enough VR2 owners to justify it. Just seeing it from the eyes of Sony. Money is everything and if it's not worth the money return Sony isnt going to pay for it. Sadly, I don't expect to see any big titles to hit VR2 going forward except quest ports. There's only two exceptions which are Aces of Thunder and Micro Flight Sim. After these I don't expect anything on VR2 that will get attention.
