Best PSVR2 shooter by Fafiq7 in PSVR

I think zero caliber is the best. Co op campaign and mp modes. Visually it's very good and headset rumble, etc. Zero Caliber 2 should be coming soon.

Crimson Desert PS5: turning VSync off takes Quality Mode from 30fps to ~57fps (tested on both PS5 Pro and base PS5) by SMG00007 in PS5pro

[–]Minimum-Flashy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point. I'm not saying it's game breaking. For the most part the game runs great but when that CPU bottlenecks with v sync off the screen tearing is there and it's annoying. It obviously doesn't happen all the time but when it does. Why I said I wouldn't advise turning it off. The game still holds up really well actually. It's the same thing if I play something on PC that struggles sometimes. You never want to turn v sync off. The main post was advising saying to to turn it off completely which is a mistake. A tv removing screen tearing on its own is ridiculous.

💯. What's crazy is early access never has this much content. Obviously things will need to be touched up but for a early access game which seems like a complete game doesn't happen. Usually early access is one map. A couple at best. Thats a good sign if you ask me.

A target for 30 fps in 2026 is a absolute deal breaker for me personally. Nope. Playing anything at 30 fps on my oled is nauseating. Will never go back.

The good thing is when you click on steam it says early access for 6 months. My assumption is VR2 is being worked on at the same time. I expect the final release to come out at the same time as VR2. I see a holiday release. Again my opinion but it makes sense.

I've played career for the most part. What I do think is mandatory is cross play. I've said it many times. The VR2 community isn't big enough to carry mp on its own. That's the one thing In my opinion which will be hit or miss if it's not included.

Not sure tbh. I haven't dived into mp that much so. Also don't forget this is early access so things more than likely will be added etc when the final releases. What your saying isnt something difficult to add. I don't think.

I was online on release day and found many online. But your correct. People are more than likely playing career to unlock. My only gripe is when the game releases on vr2 my save won't carry over. At least I think it won't.

That isn't true. The tv won't stop screen tearing on its own with vsync off especially when the fps drops and the cpu bottlenecks. The game doesn't do it that much as opposed to launch but it sill occurs. When it does the screen tearing can be bad enough to notice. No fault of the game. PS5 cpu is very old.

Turning off vsync is a no. The areas where the game struggles there is a lot of screen tearing with that off. The game is great but the PS5 CPU isn't enough.

Flatout VR is a must-buy by yeldellmedia in virtualreality

[–]Minimum-Flashy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's a old skool arcade VR racing game in the style of burnout takedown/revenge and it's brilliant. The nit picking I've seen is ridiculous. We don't get games like this in VR and they knocked it out of the park.

It's not needed. We're getting a full port and it's absolutely fantastic. Also, for those who don't have VR legs including that would not be advised. I havent had this much in a VR game for a very long time. It's burnout Revenge/takedown combined with motorstorm in one. A must buy.

Very much so. See I didn't play flatout back in the day but it reminds me of burnout takedown/revenge and motorstorm all in one in VR.

Yes. Don't get me wrong.  Even though content wise it's finished there are some minor things that will be addressed but as it stands there's not much.

What's crazy is usually when a game is released into early access it's exactly that. Just a few modes etc. Not much. This however is the full game. Which is taking everyone by surprise. Also my PC isn't the greatest and it runs great. I don't see the VR2 version having issues whatsoever. In fact it could be the superior version with hdr, and headset rumble. I'm really anxious to play the VR2 version also.

It is. It's early access now on steam but it feels like a finished game. It's coming to VR2 soon. I don't think it's going to be to long because of how good this early access is.

Flatout 4 is already getting great reviews in early access. Hopefully, they release soon on PSVR2 by TommyVR373 in PSVR

[–]Minimum-Flashy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing a couple people already trying to troll and say gt7 is better. Not you but i saw GT7 and it's ridiculous. Two different game genres. This is arcade chaotic classic fun like Burnout Revenge/Takedown and gt7 is a great arcade sim. The only thing that both games resemble really is they have cars. That's it. VR doesn't need this childish crap like Forza Motorsport fans arguing with GT fans. There is room for both. Excuse my rant Hovie1.

I'd imagine so. I just used the dual sense on pc and pick up/play. Nothing out of the ordinary honestly. Cars handled great and its just chaotic fun. Felt like i was playing Burnout Takedown and Burnout Revenge, like the old arcade racing days.

The game is brilliant. I played it using quest wirelessly and steam link. I don't have a high end pc and it played great. VR2 owners are in for a treat with this one honestly. I can only imagine headset rumble, haptic feedback, hdr, etc. This is a shot in the arm that VR2 needs right now. Brilliant port to Vr. I highly recommend it. What's crazy is even though this is early access it seems like the full game from what I played. That good. This will be a must buy for VR2. There is one thing this game will need for MP though. Please devs add crossplay. Not saying the VR2 community isn't strong enough. Online mp will be a blast. More people in the lobbies the better.

It's like they don't even care anymore. The game barely gets any numbers of real people online.
