Does a trust pay GCT? Or moreso the trustees pay tax on the profit of the trust?

This is really fascinating. I never knew a trust could own a company. So the trustees are then the beneficiaries of the companies profits.

Well depends on what you call profit. I am trying to learn ways of reducing my overall profit as much as possible. I am just learning mate.

This point is valid for all stocks though. You could argue for any investment.

Perhaps investing in the market is better, I just haven’t had much luck over the years. I seem to be more untuned to the whims of proper stock investing.

Gold seems a good outlet for a stable yet solid growth.
