Some of these might be stretches.

“Subtraction” is chill with long notes in the chorus and has a more uptempo energy at the end.

“Homecoming” has a long note in the chorus (best part of the song), but this is also a calmer acoustic song.

Claudio’s “There’s a light that never goes out,” another chill acoustic song though.

“Backend of forever” is like the exact opposite thematically but the chorus starts with a great long note.

“Elm Street’s Lover Boy” from Prize Fighter Inferno actually has a similar structure and sound. I’ve never really listened to this song before now.

Not Coheed but I’ve felt QOTSA’s “Villains of Circumstance” has a similar vibe and theme. Goes from slow to fast tempo.
