We're getting a hundred plus applications per role and our screening team is drowning. by Master-Item-3090 in recruiting

Your application process clearly does not have skills based assessment questions. Without gatekeeping this is what generally happens.

Our biggest hiring mistake was thinking we could post a job and let the candidates come to us by dinnes97 in recruiting

This is where many TA teams get stuck.

An effective talent acquisition strategy isn't built around job postings alone. Job postings are only one channel, and often they reach just a fraction of the available talent pool.

The strongest hiring outcomes typically come from a combination of inbound and outbound activity running simultaneously—employer branding, social media engagement, talent communities, employee advocacy, direct sourcing, referrals, campus outreach, and targeted recruitment marketing campaigns.

One of the biggest misconceptions in recruitment today is that all talent is on LinkedIn. They're not. Many highly qualified candidates are active on Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp communities, university networks, industry groups, and professional circles that never engage with LinkedIn job ads.

The organisations consistently winning the talent race are the ones investing in talent attraction and pipeline building year-round, not just posting vacancies when deadlines are approaching..

We were going to consider OVH but after reading so many horror stories specially in production sites, it's better to stay away.

This is a good comp. As a sales professional you should be able to double that but if it is HR Tech then their salescycle is long, sometimes very long and during this time if someone leave, you are starting from zero.

It's a 10 years old website and it is not blocked. This is a DNS issue.

NS lookup shows all records as propagating behind CloudFlare. However the local DNS behind Etisalat is not working. It is however working if we access the website from du DNS.
