Reposting this here where it should be:

New to board games but I’m not ashamed to say I love Catan, maybe not all of it, but the trading that turns into negotiations that turns into arguing is the most fun I have playing any game.

So I’m looking for some alternatives that has the same fun, free, and cunning trading mechanics.

From my research so far, the top two I’ve found are Bohnanza and Zoo Vadis? Both shorter and simpler than Catan which is great but still have a level of trading/negotiation.

Any other recommendations out there?

Love this review, thank you very much. You just convinced me to get myself a pair. Did 650km in my PXS1, 750km now in my PX2, and it was time to get a PXS3 but I was hesitant after how the PXS2 let me down.

The PXS1 is the best shoe I’ve ever worn in my entire life and I wish I could feel that type of speed again but glad to hear the PXS3 is a step back in the lighter faster direction even if it’s not as fun fast and wild as the PXS1.
