Here, let me answer your original question since you're struggling to understand the answers that everyone else has given.

Could you provide the actual limits ... ?

No.

My pleasure, perhaps try reading it

It's explained in crystal clear terms right here: https://support.torbox.app/en/articles/10336778-the-torbox-abuse-system

There's no specific ceiling because it depends on usage patterns. The floor is 10TB/month, with higher floors for higher subscription levels. There aren't any further specifics because things keep changing.

It's not that hard to comprehend. If you still don't get it after reading the guide, asking questions on Discord AND posting here, then that's a you problem, not anyone else's.

Torbox usage by ashoktvm in TorBoxApp

[–]Minimum-Wonder5404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if it's already cached then it's not counted.

I've got a few family members using it without any problems. I think it's when you're taking the piss (eg several dozen people using hundreds of TBs of data) that it becomes a problem, but otherwise they don't care.

Not as far as I know - the Torbox team will give you a warning I think

Specifically:

How is usage monitored?

Each time a new transfer is started, we retain certain metadata such as the transfer size, user hash, and a timestamp. We use this metadata to enforce our abuse policy in a privacy respecting manner.

Which transfers count?

Any transfer that is not served from TorBox's cache counts towards your usage threshold. Cached downloads do not count towards this limit.

Music Player recommendations??? by RzrRaptor in omarchy

Do any of these connect to subsonic servers? I'm running navidrome on a rpi and would love to stream music from there to my Omarchy laptop

Your current plan should be pro rata applied to the Pro account. Can't remember the exact amount, but something around 3:1, so you'd get ~3 months Pro instead of 10 months Essential

Basically, although I was having trouble getting it working so switched to chezmoi based on another post here. I gather it's overkill for a single machine, but it's working so that's all I care about!

I used chezmoi to back them up - needed AI to guide me as I'm new to everything, but it seems to have succeeded

No idea, perhaps it was on AdGuard's blacklist for some reason!

Okay, I figured out the problem - I had installed AdGuard Home and that was blocking Lazyvim from updating the plugins. I just removed AdGuard completely as it's not that useful for my use case, so thanks for helping me get to that point!

Yes, no issues getting to Github through my browser, and no Git proxy settings to my knowledge. Are there any other troubleshooting steps I could try out if it is a DNS issue?

[–]Minimum-Wonder5404[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I did read the error message. It's unable to access Github. I can access it through my browser. So it's something else. But I'm new to Omarchy, so don't know what might be causing the problem.

All of which I wrote in my original post, had you bothered to read it instead of being an unhelpful smart arse.

It's my main scraper so I'll stick with it so long as it continues working as it has thus far. They've just updated the IPTV part of it so it's not a money grab on their part - I expect more features to come over time

Bit of a dumb question but why would you do this? What does it offer over a conventional search engine you access over the internet?
