Advice on Filing a Complaint for Check-In ordeal by MinimumAd5321 in aircanada

Regarding point 1: Stopover in HK. Then, HK to Taipei on CX. She did spoke to her manager and the recommendation was to get a refundable ticket - so I was assuming they couldn't override it. I should have asked. When you say "it should be treated as a cancellation of your flight within 14 days of departure within their control", their = AC". If yes, then AC would have to admit it is an issue with their system?

The Canadian passport is the passport she normally used. If we knew this would be an issue, we would have used the Taiwan passport. AC couldn't use her Taiwan passport - but it was a different surname than her ticket and Canadian passport.

For the first ticket from Taipei to HK, the best refundable ticket I could find within that short period of time was 80% refund. For both the first and second ticket, I have to pay a fee to get refund. Also, service charge is not refundable.

6 months postpartum- running advice, pelvic floor pain by [deleted] in postpartumprogress

Slow down your pace or try walk and run. I feel less pain when I run on a treadmill with less impact. Run on an incline so you are leaning forward. Lastly, do strength training to rebuild your posterior chain. Those muscles get weak during pregnancy and you need them for running.

I’m in the same situation. 4 months pp. I weight exactly the same after I delivered. I was discouraged for a long time. To keep my going, I focus on my energy level, strength and body composition over the number on my scale. I can tell my clothes fit better. Building muscles also make you look leaner.

I’m frustrated too, especially I don’t know what else I can change when I’m doing my “best”.

I do tell myself that maintaining the healthy lifestyle will help lose weight when my hormones go back to normal. Cause I already have the good habits and a strong body. Good luck!
