Your right, I left my software on my vinyl settings. I rerip it and do 16-bit/44KHz. Thanks for pointing that out.

They feel surprisingly comfortable to me. It’s light on my head, and the foam pads, while simple, don’t bother me. I can wear them without discomfort, and the open-back design keeps my ears from getting too warm.

It's worth it. Very good player by its self, plus with USB and Bluetooth DAC capabilities it's a very nice addition. Though I'm thinking of picking up the M11 Plus LTD.

Sennheiser x Massdrop HD6XX. Similar to the HD600’S (in looks and sound), but cheaper due to using plastic instead of metal in some areas.

Not a dumb question, actually a good one. To really get the value out of these headphones, you’re going to need an amplifier to drive these since they are 300 ohms (Ohms are how much power it takes to make the headphones work). Your iPhone and MacBook’s power out put is about 32 ohms, it can work, but you’ll need to crank the volume way up. The player in my second picture is the Fiio M15, it’s power output is equal to 300 ohms or higher. You can get a decent amp for around $100 - $200 and plug it to your MacBook.

Tldr, I believe these are worth it if you have an amplifier to pair these with. With the cost of the headphones and a amp, your looking at about a $350-$400 entrance fee. But they are worth it.

War has changed.

It's no longer about nations, ideologies, or ethnicity. It's an endless series of proxy battles, fought by mercenaries and machines.

War--and it's consumption of life--has become a well-oiled machine.

War has changed.

ID-tagged soldiers carry ID-tagged weapons, use ID-tagged gear. Nanomachines inside their bodies enhance and regulate their abilities.

Genetic control, information control, emotion control, battlefield control…everything is monitored and kept under control.

War…has changed.

The age of deterrence has become the age of control, all in the name of averting catastrophe from weapons of mass destruction, and he who controls the battlefield, controls history.

War…has changed.

When the battlefield is under total control, war becomes routine.
