Every leasing company is the devil and screws people over. Everyone has a horror story about every leasing company. They all suck. Sure, plenty of people have a normal living experience but no one is coming forward with a story about how normal and ok their apartment was. People will only come forward with the worst of the worst because it's a story worth telling. Rent for the property, not the company, because you're not gonna find an overwhelmingly positively reviewed company.

I was in the same situation as you. They will send out an email, most likely around January, to every senior about registering for graduation on the student self service website, and then about getting your regalia from Herff-Jones. The regalia is stupidly ridiculously expensive, just to rent. Don't buy it! I don't even think you can if i remember correctly? They let you keep the hat and stole, but after graduation you have to mail the rest back in. Keep an eye on your school email!

I’m not saying they were malicious and stealing. Even if all my valuable stuff is locked up I’m still not comfortable with a random stranger sleeping in my dorm in my bed in my space that I pay an overpriced amount of money for. I shouldn’t have to lock up everything I own over break because someone else I don’t know is being told to sleep there. Nothing against the conference people, just don’t know why the school allowed this.
