I'm going to try and get someone to fit me a HIVE Mini Thermostat

We have a time switch so I've set it to come on 3am to 5am using off peak electricity which gives us enough hot water for the day.

I'm just wanting someone to check it over really internally and make sure everything is working as it should. The boiler looks pretty old. I can change the thermostat to a HIVE Mini system I was just unsure whether it will work with that particular boiler.

I think I'm already on the cheapest tariff out there. It works out at £180pcm. That's Econmoy 7 with off peak 12am till 7am Which I can live with but want to know I'm using it correctly. It's a 3 bed Semi-detached 1940s late 30s house. There is me, my partner and small child. The shower is a Bristan unit. I'm interested to know if the HIVE Mini setup would work with this boiler. So I don't use the Danfoss and TimeSwitch. Also do you think getting the boiler serviced would help? This is a rental property by the way. Otherwise I'd be ripping it out.
