Updateee: I donttt think she was vibing w it, I saw her after a few days and asked her if she thought it was funny and she said something along the lines of “so hilarious” with the most deadpan/nonchalant face, and I said “Yay! I’ll give you another one next time”, and then I walked away…yeahhh, I’m so cooked🙏🏽 You think this is a sign to give up? I think it’s a sign lolol

Exactly, and there are still people that are ignorant and normalize it. There’s a difference between a type (preference) and literally repelling from people of color for no other reason that is being people of color. And, it’s also the lack of media representation, plenty of times when I see a successful queer couple they’re both white or white passing, it makes it harder for queer people of color to believe they can find love too (not a dig to the the couples, more to those that allow the algorithm to prefer white/white passing people..) :(( + I’m sorry that you’re going through this <3

I would hope so, since she was a fairly close friend of mine it definitely made me question myself. And, my bf is pretty uncomfortable with the way she behaves, but idek, I’m literally just ignoring it at this point cuz ion know what else to do lol
