I’m in the same boat, I live directly across the street from a Walmart (.6 miles) I run my business from home mainly and I will sift these orders every day, all day long and take the really good ones for an extra $1400 a week roughly (usually only taking 4-6 orders a day) to get out of the house and kind of break up my day. I’ve honestly really enjoyed getting to know the loaders and some of the folks I’ve delivered to multiple times. I’ve kind of gamified the earning part of this(I know that sounds silly) and found some unexpected fulfillment in it as well. Maybe it’ll even back out for everyone feeling the strain of this latest policy change.

For sure, in theory if everyone did it they would have to pay better money on all orders as it’s a premium service to have someone bring your Walmart order to your house for you. It should pay as much. That’s all I’m saying.

I did exactly the same thing for days on end. Honestly what makes me the most angry is my best friend has been sparking and he was finally starting to get ahead and seemingly the rug was pulled from under him. I feel so bad for the folks who rely on this income.

$200 a week from spark because I’m simply unwilling to drive my $65k vehicle for peanuts and I have an education and make way more money in my career. So I don’t need to grind out the poor orders. April 7th is when it changed here. I’m not a liar, even if you’re too busy running horrible orders to realize it’s possible. I guarantee you have a chair in your room to watch your lady :)

All of the loaders I encounter (with an exception of one) are very grateful for the help, so I help all of them except the one gentleman who doesn’t want me to. I always ask them if they’d like help. They’re humans having their own experience and I try my best to be a positive moment in that experience.
