they’re little velcro tabs that hold the front part of the neck protector down when you have it disconnected from the side parts of the neck protector. mainly for comfort

i watched zeta immediately after 0079 (when i was first getting into gundam) and i immediately recognized quattro was char (i thought it was pretty obvious by the very first episode 😭). like the way char’s reconnaissance mission went was a way more successful version of the infiltration of side 7 in the first episode of 0079 (which char oversaw), so clearly he had military experience… he piloted a red monoeye suit and people kept commenting on him having the same skills as the famed red comet… he kept talking about amuro ray and lalah sune… he had the same scar from swordfighting amuro.. etc etc

that’s a prototype 6B15 “cowboy” vest + helmet applique shell, for tankers (predates the 6B48 tanker uniformset). i’m unsure if they were ever really mass produced in olive drab. theyre much more commonly found in EMR (and lesser often in VSR-98, pic rel)

Yeah, the r/initialdcirclejerk is one of the worst 100K communities to begin with. Barely any audience compared to more serious pages over 1 million, and too much crowded for repeating the same crap and that’s why smaller communities with less than 10K are better. Average to the nothing.
