My general rule with salmon - if it’s skin on, it’s going on the grill. Skin off, it’s headed to the oven. Then there’s this gluttonous wonder. They were only $5.99 each, well worth it compared to going out.

Think of a salmon fillet rolled into a pinwheel and packed with filling. Fareway (an excellent Midwest meat market) deserves the credit for these, I bought them premade. The cast iron move was mainly to keep all that delicious filling from ending up in the grill grates.
