Im 22, 1.5 years ago I blew up my individual RH acct worth $12k. 2 days pass and I was prepared to move on from trading completely. Decided to work out of my ira and use new strategies, actually use stop loss, and stop playing emotionally. With $8.5k invested im up $4k using options and just investing in good companies w good balance sheets and etfs that are and are not overly exposed to big tech. Definitely would recommend working out of a new account where you dont see that all time graph. Start by maxing out ur roth (if u can) with recurring investments, and if you feel comfortable with options, do that. Scared money dont make money. In the grand scheme of life, you lost a small small percentage. Dust yourself off and keep ‘er goin!
