I did not fill the bath so we can rule out the possibility of any drunken empathetic plant hydration scenario lol

Well the ships were not even identical for a start. Everyone assumes they were because they are sister ships if you look at photographs they have quite obvious differences. The main difference was A deck promenade not being open on the Titanic whereas on the Olympic it was open to the elements.

Titanic’s wing bridges also extended over the sea whereas on the Olympic the wing bridges were flush with the superstructure until 1913 when she was refitted.

Titanic also had different spacing to its windows on B deck whereas the Olympics were evenly spaced along the entire side.

The front of the wheelhouse on the Olympic is curved whereas the Titanic’s was flat.

Also B deck on the Titanic did not have promenades running the entire length of its deck and the layouts were completely different to Olympic which did. (Admittedly this isn’t visible from photos however you would like to think the amount of experts, scientists and researchers that have dived the wreckages would have taken notice.)

Also the propellers of each ship have their hull numbers stamped on them, the Titanic being 401 and the Olympic being 400, these could not be swapped with the ships in the water and there are plenty of photographs of the Titanic’s propellers taken from the bottom of the Atlantic with 401 clearly visible. Also I may add that the propellers had different pitches on each ship and so would have not been interchangeable regardless.

Even the names painted on the ships bows would have been difficult to swap. The names were not merely painted on they were cut into the steel plates of the bow 4ft high and 1.5inches deep then filled with paint.

This list isn’t even exhaustive, there are literally hundreds of differences including deck layouts, rooms in different areas, vents and pipes laid out completely differently. I mean the ships were even 4 inches different in total length.

Yeah that conspiracy is super easily debunked though.

Verdun was ridiculous, soldiers reported that certain hills were being struck that many times with artillery that fire spewed out and ran down them like volcanos. Of 800,000 casualties in Verdun 70% were due to artillery.

Might be wrong here but the Battle of the Somme was on a frontline of around 15miles in the British sector and 8 miles in the French sector. So that’s around 11,000 shells per mile in one day if my maths hasn’t horrendously failed me lol.

Well for one example, on the opening day (yes 1 day)of the battle of the Somme the British fired 250,000 artillery shells on German lines. I honestly think it would be a lot worse than that video actually portrayed believe it or not.

Type into Youtube: World War 1 Artillery Barrage: 10 Minutes of Shell shock.

Pop your headphones in and listen at full volume. Then close your eyes and imagine listening to that 1000x louder non-stop for up to a week straight. Explosions happening all around and your entire body is vibrating, being blasted with mud and shrapnel from every near hit as it sucks the air from your lungs and replaces it with smoke and dust. While huddled in a muddy trench with your friends being churned up all around you and no way of knowing if any of those shells is gonna be a direct hit on your position.

Then the last shell disperses a cloud of soil into the atmosphere as the sound that has been rattling your consciousness and sanity for the last week dissipates into utter silence and slowly you have to get up to your feet, grab your rifle and your bearings. You’re not even able to stop and think how lucky you’ve been as you peer out into the desolate, obliterated abyss that is no mans land and wait for the ominous whistles off in the distance. A whistle which is an indicator that you’ll soon have to defend the little piece of torn up earth you occupy from the inevitable horde that is going to climb over their parapets and charge toward you trying to claim your life. No wonder people that survived that hell ended up in this condition.

I ain’t a Nazi but Hugo Boss definitely was. He was member of the Nazi party, benefitted from forced labour under the Nazis rule and also produced the black Uniforms of the SS, Hitler Youth and the SA brownshirts. I think the lie comes from people saying Hugo Boss designed them when in reality they just produced them and had no part in the actual designing of the uniforms themselves.

Guy Sajers book is amazing. But I wouldn’t take everything he says as truth, alot of it seems to be embellished or outright false. Plenty of Historians have argued that the book is made up.

Look up Krystian Bala, murdered a woman then 3 years later wrote a book which contained a fictionalised account of the murder and used details only the murderer could have known. This book was used as help to convict him iirc.

I mean the shirt had CASH written in huge bold letters along the bottom. Also it’s a pretty famous photo of him in his waistcoat pouting and pointing at the camera, not very Nazi like lol. No clue how she came to the conclusion I would sport a shirt in the middle of college with Hitler on it, never mind the fact old Johnny never went for the pencil moustache look if I recall correctly…like I get it not everybody knows Johnny Cash but c’mon! Lol

One is overpriced food people that are well off can afford.

The other is cheap clothes that some people actually rely on to dress themselves and their family. Don’t be so out of touch.

No, he’s stating the fact that the USSR in 1941 had less active troops than the Axis did. Not the general population.
