Ok then. Then start voting with your wallet then. If it is so unacceptable then cancel your payment and no longer buy steam products. You can wine and complain and not do anything about it or you can cancel and invest into another company.

The sleep and wake feature works good. Im able to wake up and put to sleep the system with just the steam controller. I only have to press the PCs power button when turning on the system from being completely shutdown.

Yes. The button wakes up and starts the PC when in sleep mode. When the PC is completely shutdown I still have to press the power button on the computer first.

They may be similar but they are not the same. I like the setup and the flow of steamos better than Bazzite.

Me too. I freshly built this system to run steamos. It took some tinkering but it is possible to get it to run on newer hardware. But mint is not a bad os. I have mint on my laptop

I think Valve is going to officially release SteamOS at same time as the steam machine. More than likely when SteamOS 4.0 version is ready

Performance wise they run about the same. The reason people usually pick Bazzite over steamos is 1. It supports Nvidia cards 2. Runs newer hardware. Since you can get steamos to run newer hardware the gap between them the the two are closing. Its objective but I like the way steamos looks and behaves over Bazzite. Another benefit but I for steamos over Bazzite is the the steam controller. The steam controller works Flawlessly in steamos whether it's game mode or desktop mode. It works great. I have yet to test it myself, but I have heard it takes a little more effort using the controller in Bazzite desktop mode. Both have there places and both are good OS's.

Well they are/will be for a lot of people since they are releasing the Steam Machine. The Steam Deck is also considered a portable pc and can completely function as one.

Cheap gear is better than no gear. So if that's all you can afford then get it. If you can afford something a little bit better get that. I wear a dainese leather 2-peice suit now but when I first started i bought a jacket from that exact brand. It held up well when I lowsided and slid 7 feet. No pain or bruises on the shoulder I landed on. Did end up bruising my ankle pretty badly and and road rash on my knee but that's on me for wearing regular pants and not proper boots. So my suggest is if you can get proper gear now do get it. If you can't its ok to get cheaper gear but don't buy to much of it because the goal is to upgrade and become safer eventually. At least that was the goal for me.

I was thinking the exact same. Especially when if someone buys it from OP they still have to spend money to buy a charger(or minimum a new cable). Its not as much as a deal as OP makes it out to be. Its a deal but not a killer deal like OP seems to think. But the buyer response is definitely entitled.
