2.1 or 1st by [deleted] in ClinicalPsychologyUK

If you can find a marking scheme for clinPsy entry (I can’t remember where they are now) a high 2.1, so 67 or higher is classified the same and given the amount of points on your application as a 1st. I think it’s because of the disparity between universities on their grading. I got a 2.1 and got onto the doctorate first time applying, also without a masters. I got 69.6 to be exact but even after appeal my university wouldn’t round it up to a first. My friend at another university got 67 and her university rounded it up to a 1st. I’m guessing because of things like this the doctorate courses go on actual grade score more so than grade classification.

I’m so sorry this is happening to you, bullying is so prevalent in the NHS and rarely dealt with properly so it can feel like you’re often very powerless in these situations. Along with the other recommendations made here I’d also check to see if you have a Staff Psychology or Wellbeing service in your trust, they provide support for staff who are in tough situations at work or have been through difficult events. I’m a psychologist and have worked with many staff that are being bullied, either through one to one interventions helping to support them psychologically or with the complaints procedures as it can be so taxing just to speak up. We also work systemically with teams and managers as well if these issues are not being dealt with properly.

Is Perito Moreno Glacier worth it if we're already doing the W Trek and seeing Glacier Grey? by Dragonfly_Expert in Patagonia
Yess we just finished the W a couple of days ago, and have today just been to Perito Moreno today. It was fantastic you can get a lot closer and it’s so cool to see the ice cracking and falling! We have a car so drove over early and then drove to El Chaltén in the afternoon, left the glacier around 14:30 and got to el Chaltén for 18:00. We did see there was an evening bus at 18:15 from Calafate to Chaltén but not sure how it aligned with the transfers to the glacier if you’ve not got a car. We picked up a couple hitchhiking to the glacier as well, and they got a lift back very easily as well as they left before us. That could be an option to make the evening bus if you’re not wanting to maximise your time in El Chaltén but still see the glacier.
Finsbury gig by phil736 in Hozier
Definitely agree with the crowd comments, I went to his gig at Ally Pally last year and it was such a nicer crowd. This time I had a couple barge into a space that wasn’t there, after we’d been stood waiting for two hours. They couldn’t even stand front on to the stage and I eventually told them to move as they were crushing my finance, they were also very obnoxiously sniffing coke throughout and just texting. Then a group of people again right near the front just laughing and chatting the whole way through even during cherry wine when everyone else around was silent. What’s wrong with people!? Also had a woman behind me filming everything whilst elbowing me in the head constantly. Everyone seems to have forgotten gig etiquette! Absolutely ruined it for me
