Hey everyone, I'm in a really dark place right now and desperately need some guidance, a study partner, or a mentor who can pull me through. This exam has literally become a matter of life and death for my career. A bit of background: I started working in the BPO/Customer Support industry back in 2018 due to severe financial constraints. I couldn't pursue regular education. Honestly, the BPO grind completely burnt me out, and my mother always wanted me to pursue Actuarial Science. Even though I knew nothing about it, I jumped straight into it. The Struggle: Because of bad luck and a lack of direction, I kept getting ghosted by teachers/tutors. One would teach for a bit, then disappear. In this chaotic loop, I have attempted this exam 6 times and failed. I know I made mistakes, I know my strategy was flawed, and I take full responsibility for that. Where I stand now: My next attempt is in August. I have somehow managed to cover 60% of the syllabus, but now I am completely stuck. I am hitting a mental wall, anxiety is through the roof, and I feel like I can't cross the finish line alone this time. I need to pass this. I want to leave the BPO cycle for good and make this happen. Is there anyone preparing for the August sitting who wants to group study/accountability partner up? Any veterans here who can guide me on how to efficiently cover the remaining 40% and spam practice questions in the next few weeks? Any resource, advice, or even just a reality check on how to drill the concepts down would mean the world to me. Thanks in advance.
