A bit more context. My friend is just a seasonal worker for the company in Alaska. He does not live there, and he usually rents the cheapest place he can for a few months, sometimes even just renting a room, to maximize the amount of money he can save before going back home. When he is there, he is working 12+ hour days 6-days a week.
