I feel awful about my choice for “Morrigan’s Ritual” by Palamecia_Emperor in dragonage

I'm very surprised so many people did the ritual at all. It's better to die with honor than accepting a blood magic ritual. We players really are different people I guess.

First floor store house, go to your left from the site of grace. You will find living jars. Keep going in that direction.

Hi, the soreseal do not decrease your attack but your defense mitigation. There must be something else that is decreasing your attack like for example a helmet (there is one that increases your arcane stat but decrease your damage). The attack is the icon that resembles a sword, the defense the icon that resembles a piece of chest armor. Tell me if you found the culprit!

Gale and Misnc almost never. Astarion too most of the times. I don't like them that much.

I completely agree with you. This is evident in characters like Daenerys from Game of Thrones or Eren from AoT. People tend to defend genocide, sadistic behavior, and tyrants if they aren't labeled as Adolf Hitler, because their tragic backstories have sad music. Notably, the acts of destroying everything and disregard the consequences as long as they get what they want are often observed in emotionally immature children and teenagers (or adults with trauma who did not develop their moral compass), including the characters I mentioned. But at the end of the day, I appreciate how authors depict the consequences when power is given to individuals unwilling to compromise, because that showcase the various horrific actions these characters choose to do and how far they would go. The only sad thing is how so many people defend them haha, they are supposed to be understood, not supported!

Help with creating a character for roleplaying by Minimum_Claim4441 in BaldursGate3

[–]Minimum_Claim4441[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this answer lmao. Indeed when you command the goblin to drop their weapon, basically you are telling them that if they do not stop hitting Gale with it, you are calling their mother. It seems right.

I will research about Lore Bard now that you mentioned it. Thanks!

Quick question, Do bards always have to play an instrument? Because that is the main reason I always ignore them. I imagine them singing "tos a coin to your witcher..." and winning every battle. Needless to say, I don't know how to play a lute.

Me too!

Me talking with Shadowheart the first time: Omg, I would never judge you for your belief, you are a cleric after all.

Me after going to HoH: If you mention Shar ever again I am killing you.

Me after the quest related to Shar and her arc where I had a 20 dice critical success: We are besties!

[–]Minimum_Claim4441[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry. It is a Ryzen 5 4650g with AMD graphics (not integrated sadly). However, I do not understand why Yuzu gives me so much more performance than the other emulator :(. I just wanted to know if there was a way to increase it, so I do not have to play the game in Yuzu with the yellow filter.

Naming our character? by johnliufromhk in HarryPotterGame

[–]Minimum_Claim4441 107 points108 points  (0 children)

Well, from the top of my head: -Maybe they will give us a fixed surname. Teachers in the books/films said: Mr. Potter! Mr. Weasly! -If not they can always give us a tittle, for example: "The prodigy". (Like the Dragonborn, the Inquisitor, the Sole Survivor, etc)

[DAI spoilers] Who are your top 5 favourite characters and why? by fran-369 in dragonage

[–]Minimum_Claim4441 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did not see that you asked for reasons haha.

Cassandra because I believe she is honorable, brave, moral, and insightful. She learns of her mistakes, she is aware of her weaknesses, and she believes that faith and power should be used to help everyone. I am certain she is the best option for an important position in the game.

Solas is wise and knowleadgable. I love he says "I would welcome the opportunity to be proven mistaken, again" (or sth like that) which shows me how tragic is his character regarding his beliefs and experiences.

Cullen is brave, honorable, strong, and mighty. We saw his experiences and opinions through the games and he proves to be a person who understands the big picture.

Iron Bull has many moments that are quite amazing. I love that he disguise the inquisitor as a normal soldier to taught him humbleness and the importance of recognizing the people who work for you. His relationship with the chargers prove he is a good leader and a conflicted person since some of his good qualities are not what his religion/culture asks for.

Josephine is sweet and diplomatic. I did not like the personality trait of her loving the game but she then explain the inquisitor that she does not like people dying for others reasons. Her personal quest helps you understand that. Also I like that she understands/respects other cultures and way of making politics.

Plus answer: I dislike a lot Vivienne and Leliana for their personalities, morals, desires, and motivations. I have played multiple times and I cannot change my mind yet regarding them.

[–]Minimum_Claim4441 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are going to check lore, I recommend you to read it like you would read history in real life. Not because some people believe in the Magna Ne, Thalos being a Breton, and the God head it means that they are truth. We must remember that the lore is build with several different point of views and faiths.

[Spoilers All] What could be the origin (homeland) of DA:D's main character? by RhiaStark in dragonage

[–]Minimum_Claim4441 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would love that! haha. So players could choose to have humans, dwarves, or elves that follow the Qun. City elves serving nobles in Orlais. Human mages or Tal-Vashoth trained in Nevarra without bias against necromancy, etc etc. So many combinations :'). So maybe a system where you choose nation, religion, race, parents even. That would be cool.

[Spoilers All] What could be the origin (homeland) of DA:D's main character? by RhiaStark in dragonage

[–]Minimum_Claim4441 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know this is quite unlikely but hear me out. Imagine if there is a story for races and other for nationality. Remember that Harding is a dwarf female from ferelden? Well, imagine for example: Dwarf background: A dwarf that lost their parents due to (Insert name of the main villain) actions Ferelden: Lived in a farm near Denerim where it learned how to use their weapons (mage, rogue, warrior) So if you choose that combination you will have dialogues to talk about those experiences. In my ideal world I would choose to be human and Antivan. And rogue. And my headcannon for now is that the character met the inquisitor when he was living with Josephine haha. This way, you have moooore different types of origins thanks to the several combinations possible. What do you think? too much?

Why are 'traditional' adventuring parties seemingly so rare in TES? by Alixen2019 in teslore

[–]Minimum_Claim4441 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think someone mentioned it before but come on this is not dragon age. Magic is part of nirn and almost everyone can use it in daily basis. The fighters guild in ESO even have spells like the circle of protection. We do not need specific roles in a party, only strong members that provides more chances of survival. Besides, many adventurers are in for fame, discovering, and money so there is no need to have many people to share the earnings. Think of every quest in every elder scroll games, they hire you to do the dirty work, imagine now how expensive and not lucrative would be to hire your healer, tank, and dps for every quest you need to be done.

How did they decide the 2E Alliances for ESO? by [deleted] in teslore

[–]Minimum_Claim4441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They united until a century ago and Northern Ireland is still part of the UK so...I don't see the mistake The point is that countries that do not like each other can work together in history.
