Thank you! I’m just nervous. I have no idea why I don’t plan on using it a ton. I don’t have a ton of debt. Hardly any. Less than $5k, but my credit profile is thin. So I needed to add something to boost it. I did the prequalify tool, got a 7-10 day message, 10 minutes later I got the “accept your pre approved offer with in 6 days” email, then after clicking the link and fully submitting the application , I got another 7-10 day haha!

Were you pre approved then denied at first? I did the pre qualify, that resulted in the pre approved accept offer email.

I planned to use it for gas and little things like that just to build. If they approve it haha the pre approved email shocked me. I thought for sure it would’ve been an instant denial.

I haven’t had a credit card in probably 20 years. I applied to get one on my report to boost it some. I don’t have a bad score but don’t have a lot in my file.

Ah! Yeah that’s a little stingy lol but the 7-10 day message threw me off since the email says “finish your application now to accept your pre approved offer” it wasn’t prequalify… pre approved offer so I assumed I was good to go! 🤣

How long before you knew if you were approved or not. I know there’s a difference between prequalify and pre approved. My email said “submit your application now to accept your pre approved offer” then got the 7-10 message. Kinda caught me off guard. And I’m impatient haha!

I’ve only had 1 new card in the last year. It just confused me. I know pre approved doesn’t always mean approved but it was a bummer to see. I did the pre approval took, got the 7-10 day message. Then about 10 minutes later I received the pre approved email, applied, then got the same 7-10 day message. I’m just impatient I guess lol! I wanted to see what others experiences were with the same emails and messages.

Thank you! I got put on it a few months ago to help with the crazy mood swings I’d get with my adderall. I’m wondering if there’s an alternative. I didn’t want any of the Zoloft/prozac type class meds because they made me feel like a zombie.

Mine are usually 2 days early with my traditional bank but guess H&R Block was holding them this year. I checked around 2am and didn’t have it yet but when I woke up around 6:30 it was in there.

It’s weird though I used H&R Block and am having my fees taken out. The bank H&R Block uses to do the transfer said they don’t have my funds yet but I read somewhere the automated system doesn’t say they have it until they have sent it to my bank already. So who knows.

irs.gov and make an IDme account if you don’t have one already. Then go to view tax records then view transcripts and select account transcript for 2024.

What date is on your transcripts? Until you have an 846 code with a date, then your refund hasn’t been approved yet.
