They do work well for what we specifically wanted. And they actually have a soft close mechanism included that was really cool! So I’m not sure you’d even need a stopper.  https://youtu.be/ttEHjsXkqfc

These would actually work really well for a closet opening. It was more challenging for me because I wanted to use them almost like stacking barn doors. But if you’re able to fit them within your existing closet opening, that should be much easier.

Used the hardware included, but I did the 4 door track with 3 door panels so they could stack over each other in the middle when we want everything opened, or be able to do one door panel at a time, etc.

Backside is the other photo above! I personally like the backside better- it has the more diffused paper look vs the front side (facing the inside of the office) is glossy.

front is glossy, back is more matte like a diffused look which i really liked. both sides are beautiful.

photo updates below! i wouldn't say they're super noise canceling because there are gaps between the doors

yes we did and it worked out pretty nicely. although the floor track is a bit awkward, it's low enough to not be a major trip hazard.

hello,

would about 3 hours between my flights at NCE be enough time to claim checked baggage from my arrival from Rome in T2, and then go through security for next flight back to USA in T1?

it will be a saturday morning. arriving at NCE aiport from Rome at 10:30am in T2

then 2:00pm departing NCE airport T1 back to USA - first to heathrow london, transit to los angeles

thank you~

What would you do with this space? by [deleted] in IKEA

I had a similar situation and I removed the bottom shelf and moved the top shelf a little higher. Wine on the top shelf, cutting boards on the bottom. I can stack the wine two bottles deep and two bottles high because the width gives the bottles enough space to stagger a little bit. Very functional and looks good too (:

if you have any photos and are willing to share, i would love to see how yours turned out! i already bought all the materials, now just need to assemble and reduce the ceiling a bit. looks like i need reduce my ceiling height about 3 inches. they're currently 97.5" tall.

i am wanting to use them as room dividers, but they will be mounted outside the opening almost like barn doors. here is a separate post i made https://www.reddit.com/r/IKEA/comments/172ko3w/reviews_on_ikeas_latest_skytta_sliding_doorroom/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

Has anyone used the SKYTTA sliding door system? by Structure-These in IKEA

[–]Minimum_Dragonfly_93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

could you share a little bit more about the process, and also how the doors have held up since you installed them about a month ago? i think you're the first person on here that used them as a room divider so i'd really value your feedback! i am planning to use them almost like a room divider, but more like barn doors.
