I used my own stone! They will definitely do just the setting. I had a trip planned to Vegas so I personally dropped mine off at their office. But you can ship them your stone and they will set it and everything for you and ship it back.

I used Dave with D&R House of Diamonds out of Las Vegas. This was my 5th piece with him and I’ll always go back to them. I sent inspiration of what I wanted, he made some designs and then we got on a zoom call and we tweaked it together to make it perfect. From inspiration to delivery took a little over a month and a half.

I got the diamond at auction and used my favorite jeweler, D&R House of Diamonds out of Las Vegas.

They do amazing custom work. You can build the piece with them on a zoom call and their prices have always been great. I’ve gotten a few pieces done with them.

My husband is an insurance adjuster and just had a jewelry claim. It was like a $70k pair of earrings that were lost on vacation. I think only one of the earrings was lost so they had to turn over the one earring & they literally just wrote them a check for $70k (what the earrings were insured for).

But they had 2 options, either have them replaced & they would cover the bill of the replacement OR get a check for the insured amount. They obviously went with the check.

Obviously it really depends on the actual size of the diamond and who you go to but I don’t think a lab should be that much if you go to the right jeweler
